What a beautiful area that is. The quiet sounded good too. Not fussed on gulls , here in Australia they steal the food out of your hands. Those others were lovely. Really enjoyed this video thanks Cliff. Please take care
Presque Isle is a treasure drove, Cliff. Her lagoons, ponds, lighthouse, war monument - - a great deal of history took place just where you were standing. Yes, by all means return - - you'll have a great time. Be sure to visit North East, PA - the vineyards along the lake are beautiful.
Once again, awesome to see you out in my area. Totally agree with you about the NC/OBX vibes. Sand hiking has to be the worst, I dunno if you ever watched my solar eclipse video from this past spring but you hiked right by where I was tucked away back in the wood line. Looking forward to your Sinnemahoning video.
Thanks for the Presque Isle video Cliff! I used to work around Erie and would go out there quite often..Gull Point is a bird watchers haven...snowy owls come there in the winter, quite wonderful.
The memories...when my son was little, we would go with my husband on his business trips to Erie, spend the day playing at the beach, and have supper at a restaurant called The Elephant Bar (its gone now). Wonderful days. Thanks for reminding me.
We were there some years ago and seeing trees like that on a beach was just so odd to us. We spent the day collecting beach glass and got burned to a crisp, but we enjoyed every minute of our visit! Thanks for bringing back some memories of this beautiful and unique place!
The Outer Banks of NC are my favorite beaches, well my favorite landforms and ecosystems. The Pea Island Wildlife reserve there is one of my favorite places. But all of OBX is just special. Love it more than any Caribbean or other tropical island area. But I'll say that Lake Erie beach is great. Lake Michigan's eastern shore is incredible as well. Beautiful beaches, some very high dunes in a few places, and the rocks I found! Ah well, that was decades ago. Now Cliff does my traveling for me. Thanks Cliff!
We drove from Nags Head to the Graveyard of the Atlantic Museum. We stopped at Pea Island, and I was wishing for a better camera. Very beautiful and peaceful.
I wish I could live in the Presque Isle Lighthouse : ) We were at the State Park almost 15 or so years ago. Got awfully sick shortly after. We think my allergies really kicked in but I definitely had a fever. The drive back to the Sugarcreek Super 8 was miserable. Overall, was quite fun to visit.
Oh Cliff,I am so disappointed that you didn't make it to the spillway. I know you were on a time limit but you would have loved seeing and feeding the fish. Try to make it next time. I think Saras Campground at the beginning of Presque Isle allows tent camping on the beach. Nice trail and Bigfoot huts. I'd like to try that trail in fall or maybe winter. Glad you enjoyed my part of the state. Safe travels as always ❤❤❤❤
your right about the title of the video if you would have blind folded me and dropped me off there i wouldn't have known i was in PA and i lived here all my life just never been to Presque island
i think we were up there a few years ago when my daughter was going to college in Meadville, we went to lake Erie and went out on a boardwalk thing and around a park in erie area. one of her classes on environmental science had them go out on a boat off the shore there and shock fish then count what they found put back the good fish and get rid of invasive fish like goldfish people threw in lake they grow almost a foot long and fat
The Lakeside Campground is just a bit north on the Pa-Ny border. It's a great place-showers, bathrooms and for a small fee, you can get electricity. Highly recommend!
@@rachellenagel4556 I used to live in Virginia Beach back in the 90's. I have seen your Mt. Trashmore and it is much nicer than ours here in Erie, PA. I got such a kick out of the name I kind of borrowed it. Sorry, but thanks!
I have relatives buried in Erie, and an ancestor born in Crawford County. I wish you made a playlist of counties you visit!! You might get more views. I know since it is so far away for you there won’t be any cemetery videos. I wish I you could stay longer in the western part of Pennsylvania. Is there a connection with abolitionist and Erie?
Thanks, beautiful frog. I love presque isle, been visiting for years, from Western New York.

Thank you for sharing. Through your lens is probably the only way I’ll get to see this beautiful part of PA even though Erie isn’t that far from me.
You're in my neck of the woods! Presque Isle is indeed lovely, but I love Pymatuning more! I'll buy ya lunch if you're still here!

We enjoyed our time there 12 years ago already! I was waiting for you to post your visit there! Thanks for taking us back❣️❣️
The plant with white flowers and honeybees looks like Boneset, very useful. Thanks for the insight out there.
That's Bigfoot's summer home!! 😁😁

Great place.Thanks Cliff..
My husband and I were there in October 2020. It’s a beautiful place!
It was beautiful. Wonder what it is like in the wintertime with all that snow? Stay well and be safe.
There's something to be said for being out in nature with no humans around. That observation point was great.
thanks Cliff!
beautiful beach!
Thanks for showing the Bigfoot structures. I love seeing them!
Bigfoot sure does like beach property
Those structures on the beach are really cool!
We really loved that area! We can't wait to go back! Cheers
Great shot of you standing by the bigfoot hut. 👍
Now you're in "my" part of PA. My sister and I spent many summers in Erie with family as kids.
Thanks for the Presque Isle video Cliff!

Another cool park when I was there I took the sightseeing tour on the Lady Kate pretty cool boat ride
Near Erie, PA is the liittle village of North East, PA. Grape Festival is the best!

Wonderful video Cliff! Presque Isle is on my bucket list, too!
I was there when I was little it is an awesome place
lovely area! God Bless
Another great video Cliff!
We hiked this trail last year. I grew up in Erie County and spent many summer days at the lake ,especially Freeport Beach

I recall it being strange walking on a beach with no sea shells.
Big Foot has beach front property. 😂
Very different State Park, pretty area. Thank You!
cool video thanks for sharing
Presque Isle is nice but Isle of Lucy is my favorite.😄

Been up there a couple times for vacation. Nice because it's only a 3 hr drive.
Thanks for the video

😎cool.
You should check out panther rocks, oil city/franklin area. 35 caves and cliffs you believe
*wouldnt
I'm only an hour fifteen minutes away from the Bluffs and the Isle and have never been there 😢.
Erie pa is a land of its own. The craziest thing about Erie PA is in the county of Erie there's a like a 1900 ft mountain.
Garbage mountain! Landfill
Thanks for visiting Cliff! I would have bought you lunch at Sarah's if I had known when you were going to be there.
@@jamesgreenawalt9713 I call it Mt. Trashmore!

1 mile walk through sand sounds HARD. Bet your leg muscles were sore!

I have been to Presque Isle many times, and I haven't reached Gull Point
Elk Creek acsess has big feet also.
Yeah where those huts or whatever it is come from?
My guess.... people playing with the drift wood.
@@jayforkner2692 I don't know but I saw one similar to that at the place I walk in Schuylkill county Pennsylvania. And it's not a public place.
People on the North coast do not walk. That is why there are hardly any trails. If they can't drive there, they don't go.
