    This time a rather special happening while looking for the past.
    Watch the full video to get the picture and please do not be judgemental. I am only showing what i experience myself.
    There is a follow up video to come...
    Edit : right after 9,57 there is a voice saying " yup " and that was not me and there was no one else on that location at that time. Neither is that voice in the original material i have from the location so i cant explain that.

    That forest is utterly silent. Not a bird calling or insect sound. I used to live in a very paranormally active area, and I will never live there or go there again. That forest you're in is haunted as hell. People who "don't believe" in paranormal stuff should see some of the stuff that I, and my friends, have experienced. As soon as they changed their underwear they'd deny it ever happened.

    My family visited a old gunpowder factory site in Sweden(some where in Småland), where many people had lost their lives due to the accidental explosions that occurred from time to time. And my little sister got really frightened when she saw and man in a blue uniform. She didn't tell my parents about the incident until later that night, and both my parents got all pale. Because from the time period where the factory was active, soldiers in that area had that exact same blue uniform as my little sister had described.

    I sometimes get the feeling I'm being watched when I'm walking in thick forests. I personally put it down to the fact that in such environments human beings may feel insecure as they could easily be attacked by something that they wouldn't see until it was too late. It could just be an atavistic trait we've inherited from our ancestors as a heightened awareness and hyper vigilance would be an advantage in such places.

      One time me and my cousin went for a walk around a pretty rural forest like beside lots of farms and a lot more isolated then others anyways as we walked down a path into this forest like the out skirts of it, my cousin told me to stop and he was also in fighting/stealthy stance when he said this so I assumed something was abnormal. Suddenly he told me to run for my life. When we got to the back road in a prone position behind a ditch he told me he could see three men like 20-30 year olds staring at use behind a bush whispering amongst them selves I was completely shook.
      Later on he said him and another friend were also walking around here a year back and 2 guys told them to “fuck off” and a year before that local police (the guards as Irish people call them) found a dead body in that very forest.

    I was stationed in Munich for 3 years and we used to run in Perlacher Forest early in the mornings, I know the feeling of being watched well and we always felt like something was watching us as we ran. The Building I worked in was Building 1 on McGraw Kasserne, supposedly it was a SS supply complex during WW2 and I worked nights as a physical security MP mostly alone except for the communications detachment. When doing rounds it was not unusual for doors to slam shut behind you especially in the sub basement 2 floors below ground, and every now and then seeing something out of the corners of your eyes as you went around corners. Wether it was just the imagination of a 19 year old PFC getting the best of me or something tangible I will never know.

    I do hear “hilf” as in hilf mir. I do not doubt the presence of those who died especially in war. When I visited Gettysburg I swear I heard someone behind me whisper “make ready” which is the command before fire

    • @BeingAwakeisPainful
      @BeingAwakeisPainful 4 года назад +2

      Steven Recknagel my girlfriend and I both heard a twig snap like someone stepped on it then
      something/someone said “Halt!” We both heard it with our own ears at Little Round Top around 9:30 pm- nobody was there... nobody but the two of us. We were on the line that the 20th of Maine held. We were both creeped out. Also a lot of auditable metal on metal- like soldiers on the move. Very strange.

    • @StevenRecknagelMusic
      @StevenRecknagelMusic 4 года назад +1

      Mailbomb Bingo my encounter happened in big round top with just my father up the hill from me. I was sitting in a groove behind a rock and ahead of me was a stone wall, something about that small off the way entrenchment seemed to lure me to it and that’s when I heard it.
      Gettysburg is truly remarkable. In McPherson’s woods I thought I saw a shadow off to the side of me near whiloughby run but I had no way of making sure it wasn’t someone.
      I used to do civil war reenacting and I know what you mean about the soldiers moving with metal on metal sound. Given all the gear these guy used and had to carry moving quietly was not an option and often your enemy could hear the advancing soldiers

    • @StevenRecknagelMusic
      @StevenRecknagelMusic 4 года назад +2

      Mailbomb Bingo also I remember my first trip to Gettysburg I sat on a rock in the Devils Den, got a nice picture of myself. Later on that day went into the gift shop that was Lees headquarters at the time, and saw a photo I’d never seen before of a dead soldier lying in the exact place I’d taken that picture earlier. Strange it’s really a special place with so much sad history behind it

    • @BeingAwakeisPainful
      @BeingAwakeisPainful 4 года назад +3

      Steven Recknagel Gettysburg is very special. I enjoy both the historical aspects as well as it’s paranormal. Every time I visit those hallowed grounds I get some type of evidence.
      The Mrs. & I went out there one January a few years back and it was bitter cold- coldest day of that year. We were over in Iverson’s Pits and we were only out of the car for about 6-7 minutes saying a few things out loud in respects to the fallen soldiers who had lost their lives there. The Mrs. really wanted to get back to the warmth of the vehicle when I had just stated that “we came in peace and that we were sorry for the way you lost your lives here and that it was terrible how you were just piled up and buried... etc” when all of a sudden in the middle of the field this warmth came over us. I’m talking like when you wake up in the morning and you’re really comfortable and warm in your bed, that’s the feeling of warmth we had. It was like the cold never even bothered us. Paranormal? I don’t know. But I assure you while we remained at Iverson Pits we were warm and comfortable the entire hour we were there. I truly believe the soldiers were keeping us warm.

    I think the object at 4:03 might be a butter churn. The "S" shaped bottom of the lid/handle is used for stirring. If you look up milk churn or butter churn in Google Images you will see various farm solutions using glass lower containers. This would have been an excellent military field ready solution. Just a total guess. The handle is just turned left to right and stirs the contents of the container. In any event that lid was designed to stir something. Love your videos and scenic photography!

    thanks for all your videos, especially those where you're teaching your son to dig, super cute video , kids are brilliant ain't they? my nephew has been a total source of joy for our family and so funny he keeps us all happy.
    also you're an especially great godsend for me, I'm in a wheelchair and I love metal detecting and ww2 history but can u imagine wheeling in the places you go?? lol not a chance! so watching you and listening to your emotions kicking in as you find stuff is fantastic for me. I've even shown patients at a hospital and they've all got hooked too lol
    you really are performing a great service,
    historic treasure hunter! keep it going and may the detector gods look favourably upon thy quests!!!! ;)

    Another interesting video, with a touch of goose bumps included. I have to say being out there in the woods alone is not for the faint hearted. I feel our sixth sense sometimes picks up things like noises or movement and then it gets spooky. Your determination in exploring the site for artifacts and relics will win the day regardless of any spooky spine chilling feelings.... I do have an open mind on the paranormal...! even if it scares the hell out of me lol. thanks again for posting another top video my friend.

    I've just listened to the audio through some super sensitive headphones 9:59 the there is a word being said and its not you sounds like its saying "Knapp" which i believe is Danish for Button or, "Knup" which is Slovak means "Whimper" or "yelp" it could also just be saying "Hap" which could be an abbreviation of a name. But, Rest assured there is another voice there saying something. Now i can't wait for part 2 i need to see it lol. Good luck and good Hunting.

    There could be a rational explanation for it... I don't believe whatever it is could be reliably captured on video, myself. I usually talk about the things I witness in the wild to the Native Americans, they seem to be more receptive to what the average person would never believe, as theirs is a different nature...
