True Dub fans can appreciate certain aspects of just about any song in the genre.
Tis true. I hate it when people say that dubstep is a style that requires no talent. Being a musician who makes dubstep, it's helped me to realize just how hard and how long a truly professional-sounding can be. There are so many subtle details that go into it: the rise and crash cymbals, the hats/cowbells, the sub bass, and the list goes on. You have to make sure that the bass doesn't drown out the drums, watch out for distortion, then after you get done making the song, you have to master it.

OfficialDr3am5tep I feel the same way when it comes to Gabber productions, the songs are already distorted via bassdrums and hard leads often get distorted as well. So that makes things always harder on the mastering department. I'm sure some of the other EDM styles like Big Room & Drumstep also suffer the same misconception in regards to difficulty. It's the stuggle of EDM in general.
On topic of this song, Megalodon is a boss.

When you look at the hits over the last four years on this channel you can really see dubstep has hit its peak of popularity about two years ago. Are we going to become like those oldmen stuck in the 80's with the long hair and the heavy metal t-shirts that can't let it go?

I've been subbed to UKF for a little over a year now, and VitalDubstep for about the same amount of time. Quantity wise, UKF has them beat, quality wise, Vital is at the finish line while UKF's half way through.

Yeah for sure, you can just tell by him mentioning time. It doesn't matter how much time is spent on a track, that is irrelevant to production. Look at Swindle, he was able to make a full dubstep track on a BEAT THIS episode in just 10 minutes.

Shook is now 10 years old! Megalodon's debut to UKF Dubstep! Huge respect for this artist making Never Say Die records very memorable! How much this artist have changed since this track, and I find it ironic since many of his tracks sound similar, this is just simple by comparison with his newer tracks! Shook holds a special place for me cause this still sounds good today in 2023!

You can criticize it all you want, hate the bloody track all you want but saying anyone can produce this, or that you could make better, without actually knowing anything about production that's not criticism that's ignorance.

Dubstep is alot harder to make than you think, you don't just get on garageband and put some loops together. it takes real skill. if anyone can do better than it, why don't you try? huh? yeah, you can't do it, thats what i thought
