I like the idea of Deandre Hopkins on a 1-2 year deal and/or Zach Ertz (If we don't get Tee). While they're both old, they'll both be relatively cheap, and they are still extremely reliable. In DHop's case, it gives us time to develop our younger guys like QJ and B-Rice. In Ertz's case, say we draft a Loveland like you advertised, gives Loveland time to adjust to the NFL and gives us just another reliable weapon, helping Herbert with the O-line problems, because I truly believe this team can be great next szn, but it's gonna be really hard to fix all our problems in a single offszn, especially when the FA class is kinda weak. And as far as RB, I can't imagine JK not being back, but I would also love to draft a guy to potentially succeed JK or even just take some of the load off him to maximize his ability and his availability

If you don’t think there is WR you can get in the 2nd round next year who can put up similar numbers than I’m ok with giving up a second.

Our #1 priority in FA has to be getting Trey Smith at RG and either Ryan Kelly or Drew Dahlman at C followed by drafting Jake Majors from Texas. Harbaugh has preached toughness in the trenches and it was by far the weakest part of the team that our C,RG, and LG were all worse than backups. Fix the Oline to complement Alt and Slater well then get the weapons for Herbert to throw too. For weapons we can draft Warren/Loveland/Fannin and/or even poach a trade with Seattle to get DK Metcalf from them. As far as our tough running game, draft Henderson from OSU and resign Dobbins. The revamped oline will make them shine. This off season should be about loading up on offense through FA and the draft and we have a great opportunity to add some consistency on defense by resigning Poona, Tart, and Molden at least.

By releasing Bosa we may be able to upgrade the guard and center positions. Fixing this team may take next years draft to become a true contender. No way do I expect Tee Higgins when this team has so many other needs in bringing back key players from this past year. Jim Harbaugh will fix his defense and offense lines before signing a player like Higgins.
Who is the best center available? I was spoiled by Corey Linsley, who was able to make Zion Johnson and Trey Pipkin seem adequate.
If this team had Linsley we would have been significantly better this year

Our #1 priority in FA has to be getting Trey Smith at RG and either Ryan Kelly or Drew Dahlman at C followed by drafting Jake Majors from Texas. Harbaugh has preached toughness in the trenches and it was by far the weakest part of the team that our C,RG, and LG were all worse than backups. Fix the Oline to complement Alt and Slater well then get the weapons for Herbert to throw too. For weapons we can draft Warren/Loveland/Fannin and/or even poach a trade with Seattle to get DK Metcalf from them. As far as our tough running game, draft Henderson from OSU and resign Dobbins. The revamped oline will make them shine. This off season should be about loading up on offense through FA and the draft and we have a great opportunity to add some consistency on defense by resigning Poona, Tart, and Molden at least.
I dont like the ideas of giving up high draft picks in A trade.If we decide to trade for players,I would to trade for teams that need to clear up cap space as they are more desperate.
Until the offensive and defensive lines are at a high level Chargers should find highly productive WR talent on 1- 2 year vet contracts or players through the draft!

@ the thing is we’re projected to have 100 million and we can draft really well. I don’t see why we shouldn’t go get the best WR on the market. Hes exactly what we need. We’ll still have plenty of money left over. Combined with a good draft we can turn the team around. I say we go pay a WR, DB, and guard in free agency and draft the rest

Tee Higgins will not come to play for the Chargers with Roman at the offensive helm, not enough targets to all the receivers. A TE is more likely with Roman’s offensive system
Yep - it’s why we likely won’t get a big name receiver. We need system fits with a strong slot and speed to stretch the D. I think the best we can hope for is a prove it deal pays off with someone like Hollywood Brown. Would like to get Kennan back on a 1 year to see if this season was because of the Bears or if he’s fallen off.
