Brenda I was so sorry to hear you are having a health issue. I am praying for you to have a speedy recovery and return to health. I wanted to let you both know how special I find your floss tube. It’s a must watch for me as soon as it is uploaded to floss tube😀. I also wanted to let you know that you two and your enthusiasm are the reason I have picked up my cross stitch again after a fifteen year hiatus. I was so inspired by your excitement that I went up to my craft space and dug out my stitching. I have been stitching now everyday for three months. I had forgotten how much I loved it and I have you two to thank for getting me back into it. Also for hopelessly enabling a substantial stash building project....you have to have choices. 😂. Thank you so much.
Laura, Marshall Fields chocolate mints were the absolute best! Lots of great projects, as always. When I saw the year your mom was born, I’m probably closer to her age than yours! 😱. Brenda, keep that positivity and strength going. The worst part is not knowing, but once you get results and have a plan, you know what you have to do. And you can and will do it. Just think of one step at a time gets you closer to the end of treatment and back to health. You look less stressed and peaceful today. (And that blouse is a great color on you!) I am not a cross stitcher. I did my fair share back in the 70’s and 80’s but not any more. But I found you and you are in my top 3 RUclips videos. I look forward to your videos because I like you both as people. I think you are insane when it comes to cross stitch stuff (I thought us knitters had huge stashes!) but more than anything you are real and funny and entertaining. Brenda, my heart goes out to you. I hope whatever journey life is taking you on goes smoothly and lands you in a good place. I will be pray for you. And Laura, keep making me laugh and being the hoot that you are! You two are about the sweetest ever! I love the friendship. I am certainly praying for your health. For me I know God is in control. I am a couple months shy of 70 and I have just started stitching again. Always been a quilter and moved from cross stitch to needlepoint in the 90s. I’m back in the fold and have lost my mind and am loving it! I haven’t tried a sampler yet, but it’s just a matter of time. I love your advice “do what you love”. Yeah, Laura...on the quilting bandwagon!! I started learning to quilt in anticipation of the My Happy Place quilt! I can make project bags and I’m working on my second quilt top currently. I’m sticking to simple projects for now but I’m going to try some of Lori’s appliqué shapes ( Flea Market Flowers) as well as crossstitch Flowers. My sewing room looks like a disaster too-quilting, sewing machine, wool pieces, crossstitch in progress, crossstitch I want to do, crossstitch needing FFO’ing, etc! 😂🤪🤣 So good to see you, Brenda!! Brenda, I'm so glad you are feeling a little better and wish you the very best on your remaining road to recovery. Your flower sampler is very, very beautiful and is one which is firmly on my own 'to do' list at some point in the future. Laura, all of the projects you showed today are also very beautiful and your stitching is so neat and precise! I'm like you when it comes to certain colour choices (for example I'm not much of a pinky / peachy or lime green person either) , but the greenish tinge to the linen you showed is really popping the colours of your work! Beautifully done!! I'm also very much into 'Baby Yoda' he's just so super cute and both series of the Mandalorian had me on the edge of my seat (a shame they didn't manage to achieve that with the most recent slew of the Star Wars movies, but 'oh well' *shrug* ! Thankyou so much for another great video filled with gorgeous things! It gives me real motivation to continue with my own stitching, and relaxation, of which we all need more than we get. Thank you for making another fabulous FT. I know we all look forward to seeing you both every two weeks. Your stitching is always so inspirational and it’s so fun to see your friendship. Brenda, I have had 3 Scotties in my adult life-they are such little characters. Our current one, Happy, is 13 1/2 yrs old. She is a rescue that they didn’t think would live to see her 3rd birthday. We also have a 14 year old black & tan dachshund and she is our 2nd one-they are great companions. I was so very sorry to hear about your loss of your beloved kitty. It is just so hard to lose our babies. My last cat lived to be 22 years old and passed away 8 years ago…I still haven’t been able to rescue another one. I also went to U of M and lived in Downer’s Grove, IL, and Lisle, IL for part of my childhood. We moved from MI to Canton, OH during my senior year of high school and it really messed me up as far as cheering for sports teams. LOL. Now, I am back living in the South, after living in TN, OH, MI, IN, IL, NC, FL and now GA. I’m thrilled that I don’t ever have to move again and all my stash is out of storage and under one roof-it’s a great feeling! Anyway, I continue to pray for both of you and think of you often. I am so happy you have your family, friends, stitching and Bailey for support as you journey forward. Sending love and hugs to both of you wonderful ladies. ♥️

OMG Marshell Field's, My mother and I would take the train to Chicago and shop - the Christmas tree at Christmas time went all the way up and when you are little-was so big! It was big but when you are little seemed unreal! They had a budget floor too. lots of memories came back! Thx. Will continue to keep you in my prayers

Laura, I stitched Mares Eat Oats for my mom years ago. She always used to sing that song to us when we were little. It was a fun stitch, but I was younger then and I hated stitching the individual stitches in the area with the stars. Back then, I didn't know anybody who stitched so I just winged it and I think I travel my thread from stitch to stitch. I always look at it when I visit my mom. It was fun and she absolutely loved it. Brenda, you look fabulous on this video...perhaps it is part your being at peace or maybe it is the color you are wearing. Our thoughts and prayers are with you, always!

I enjoy and I am inspired by watching you both. Prayers for Brenda. I agree with the magnifers, reading glass, and Qsnap. Just did my first 36ct linen piece for blackbird weekend sal and I found it easy with those accessories. Your eyes do get use to the linen thread just working on the tension. Now I feel the world has opened up, so many linens to choose from!

Brenda I was so sorry to hear you are having a health issue. I am praying for you to have a speedy recovery and return to health. I wanted to let you both know how special I find your floss tube. It’s a must watch for me as soon as it is uploaded to floss tube😀. I also wanted to let you know that you two and your enthusiasm are the reason I have picked up my cross stitch again after a fifteen year hiatus. I was so inspired by your excitement that I went up to my craft space and dug out my stitching. I have been stitching now everyday for three months. I had forgotten how much I loved it and I have you two to thank for getting me back into it. Also for hopelessly enabling a substantial stash building project....you have to have choices. 😂. Thank you so much.
Laura, Marshall Fields chocolate mints were the absolute best! Lots of great projects, as always. When I saw the year your mom was born, I’m probably closer to her age than yours! 😱.
Brenda, keep that positivity and strength going. The worst part is not knowing, but once you get results and have a plan, you know what you have to do. And you can and will do it. Just think of one step at a time gets you closer to the end of treatment and back to health. You look less stressed and peaceful today. (And that blouse is a great color on you!)

I am not a cross stitcher. I did my fair share back in the 70’s and 80’s but not any more. But I found you and you are in my top 3 RUclips videos. I look forward to your videos because I like you both as people. I think you are insane when it comes to cross stitch stuff (I thought us knitters had huge stashes!) but more than anything you are real and funny and entertaining. Brenda, my heart goes out to you. I hope whatever journey life is taking you on goes smoothly and lands you in a good place. I will be pray for you. And Laura, keep making me laugh and being the hoot that you are! You two are about the sweetest ever! I love the friendship. I am certainly praying for your health. For me I know God is in control. I am a couple months shy of 70 and I have just started stitching again. Always been a quilter and moved from cross stitch to needlepoint in the 90s. I’m back in the fold and have lost my mind and am loving it! I haven’t tried a sampler yet, but it’s just a matter of time. I love your advice “do what you love”. Yeah, Laura...on the quilting bandwagon!! I started learning to quilt in anticipation of the My Happy Place quilt! I can make project bags and I’m working on my second quilt top currently. I’m sticking to simple projects for now but I’m going to try some of Lori’s appliqué shapes ( Flea Market Flowers) as well as crossstitch Flowers. My sewing room looks like a disaster too-quilting, sewing machine, wool pieces, crossstitch in progress, crossstitch I want to do, crossstitch needing FFO’ing, etc! 😂🤪🤣 So good to see you, Brenda!! Brenda, I'm so glad you are feeling a little better and wish you the very best on your remaining road to recovery. Your flower sampler is very, very beautiful and is one which is firmly on my own 'to do' list at some point in the future. Laura, all of the projects you showed today are also very beautiful and your stitching is so neat and precise! I'm like you when it comes to certain colour choices (for example I'm not much of a pinky / peachy or lime green person either) , but the greenish tinge to the linen you showed is really popping the colours of your work! Beautifully done!! I'm also very much into 'Baby Yoda' he's just so super cute and both series of the Mandalorian had me on the edge of my seat (a shame they didn't manage to achieve that with the most recent slew of the Star Wars movies, but 'oh well' *shrug* ! Thankyou so much for another great video filled with gorgeous things! It gives me real motivation to continue with my own stitching, and relaxation, of which we all need more than we get. Thank you for making another fabulous FT. I know we all look forward to seeing you both every two weeks. Your stitching is always so inspirational and it’s so fun to see your friendship. Brenda, I have had 3 Scotties in my adult life-they are such little characters. Our current one, Happy, is 13 1/2 yrs old. She is a rescue that they didn’t think would live to see her 3rd birthday. We also have a 14 year old black & tan dachshund and she is our 2nd one-they are great companions. I was so very sorry to hear about your loss of your beloved kitty. It is just so hard to lose our babies. My last cat lived to be 22 years old and passed away 8 years ago…I still haven’t been able to rescue another one. I also went to U of M and lived in Downer’s Grove, IL, and Lisle, IL for part of my childhood. We moved from MI to Canton, OH during my senior year of high school and it really messed me up as far as cheering for sports teams. LOL. Now, I am back living in the South, after living in TN, OH, MI, IN, IL, NC, FL and now GA. I’m thrilled that I don’t ever have to move again and all my stash is out of storage and under one roof-it’s a great feeling! Anyway, I continue to pray for both of you and think of you often. I am so happy you have your family, friends, stitching and Bailey for support as you journey forward. Sending love and hugs to both of you wonderful ladies. ♥️

OMG Marshell Field's, My mother and I would take the train to Chicago and shop - the Christmas tree at Christmas time went all the way up and when you are little-was so big! It was big but when you are little seemed unreal! They had a budget floor too. lots of memories came back! Thx. Will continue to keep you in my prayers

Laura, I stitched Mares Eat Oats for my mom years ago. She always used to sing that song to us when we were little. It was a fun stitch, but I was younger then and I hated stitching the individual stitches in the area with the stars. Back then, I didn't know anybody who stitched so I just winged it and I think I travel my thread from stitch to stitch. I always look at it when I visit my mom. It was fun and she absolutely loved it. Brenda, you look fabulous on this video...perhaps it is part your being at peace or maybe it is the color you are wearing. Our thoughts and prayers are with you, always!

Just did my first 36ct linen piece for blackbird weekend sal and I found it easy with those accessories. Your eyes do get use to the linen thread just working on the tension. Now I feel the world has opened up, so many linens to choose from!
