I didn’t have channel lock pliers so I carefully used my bench vise and it worked like a charm!

Trying to reuse my old gas tube in new adjustable gas block. Do i just need to punch the old pin out and use the new one?

If everything is in good condition you should be able to reuse your old gas block and tube. We have done it many times.
