I was a kid in the 1970s, visiting my Dad's family at least twice a year (once for two weeks in the summer and one week during Christmas), and when that sign came up at 19:56, we knew we were almost there!!! Rt. 67 to Ballston Spa. There is nothing like the Northway. I have so many memories of camping, shopping in Saratoga, and going to theme parks and other sites while visiting my Dad's family.
When I moved to the area with my parents in 2008 I was reminded of the Pennybacker Bridge on the "Loop 360" in Austin TX. It's an icon of the city, and so are the Thaddeus Kosciusko "Twin Bridges" in Albany.

Driving to McGill from Westchester County in the late 60's/early 70's, feels like yesterday 😊
The “ Twin Bridges “ reminds me of the “ Dolly Parton” bridge in Alabama
