$27,000 and sold, and a great deal. I'm original owner on my 2000 F350 I special ordered w/7.3 and 6sp manual in 2000 for $24k. PPL are realizing how much detuned for EPA standards cost in performance and going after these 7.3s with no cat no DEF and all the other BS.
That’s crazy!!!! I was offered 28k for my 2019 xlt f350 with 128k miles and I was insulted! I figured they would offer me at least 35-38k it’s whatever tho. I just won’t buy a new one and I’ll just run my 19 to the ground.
Could have got 30-35K easily. Fords with the 7.3 and Toyotas 85 to 94 in mint condition, can sell now for more than they cost when they were brand new.
the rods are just fine unless you plan on a big tune with upgrades, which in my opinion is foolish on the iconic 7.3L PSD, most of what makes it iconic is it's legendary reliability. big tunes with larger turbos and injectors severely compromise the reliability.
I want one of these in this condition more than a new truck

Nice . 2003 ...powdered metal Rods . Probably would hold about 450 hp than you gotta do some work ;)
Just like mine… those rods are shit but I like the 03 because it’s “bragging” rights oh dudeee I got the last year of the 7.3!!!!
And I like the steering wheel cover with the blue ford logo over the plastic print
