Just bought this gun & I LOVE it!!! Was concerned about accuracy & precision w/out a front sight but the embedded sight is so much easier. I highLy recommend.
Hey Amanda Gilcrease, I think this gun has taken a lot of people by surprise, especially the level of accuracy that can be achieved. Glad your a fan, I like mine as well
@@speedloads2469 Awesome! I currently have a Ruger LC9S but it's a bit large for pocket carry. I also have a Sig P226 so getting it's smaller, younger brother just makes sense. Lol
I was just looking at mine and realized why the narrow portion was so long. I felt the thinnest part and realized it's slimmer than the rails. I love the shape and the Hogue grip just slightly accentuates it without adding too much thickness.
My p365 sas I just got but the barrel is having a little noise to it and when I checked it out to see what it was my barrel is the problem it makes a little noise cause it moves a little back and forth should I be worried? Is there a fix
My sas doesnt have the ports i was wondering if anyone has shot both and if you could tell much of a difference with this short of a barrel would the ports make much of a difference. I have ported pistols but they are larger caliber pistols, just kinda curious
Haha, hopped a few would appreciate that! I'm loving this pistol, it might seem a little strange looking at photos or watching videos, but makes a lot of sense in person. Super easy to make solid hits at speed. With that said, as you're well aware, are not optimized for bullseye at 25 yards. But, an acceptable level of accuracy can be achieved at that range.
Is the SAS system illuminated? Or is it something like fiber or tritium? I think its a truly awesome and innovative system, but I don't know a lot about it, and not sure if I'd love it or hate it lol Awesome video, thanks for sharing your experience with this pistol! New subscriber here
Just don’t think these mods are necessary. The regular P365 is already a “minimalist” gun as it is. I owned both at different times and with the right holster, my regular P365 hasn’t had a snagging issue. I like the ability to being able to drop the slide to chamber a round and not using a tool to take the gun down also. Features that aren’t present on the P365 SAS. I do not believe the porting is a benefit either. Not only is it loud and would pop some ear drums if it had to be fired but small defensive carry guns can blast gas and debris back at you being so close. Especially in a car-jacking scenario firing across your chest. I get porting on competition pistols not on small carry guns in my opinion. Also in my experience, the sight(s) on the SAS do take some time to get used to because they are so different. Being a custom to 3 dot sights or hi-vis front with blacked out rear, it’s quite different when you look down the slide. Plus, there’s NO WAY to adjust the sight if needed and I’ve heard a good portion (including mine) needed to be adjusted. The only way to get that done is send it off to Sig. At 10 yards I was a good 4 inches left and so were the other 3 people I was shooting with that day. It’s just too different from other CCW pistols. If other guns I own had that sighting system and it was on target, it wouldn’t be as bad but I think the original P365 is a better choice. I only purchased the SAS because I couldn’t find the regular P365. It took me 2 weeks if calling other gun shops, 2 hours of driving and an extra $100 to trade my SAS for a P365. For an extra $50 or so for the SAS, I just don’t see the benefit or value but your results my vary.
No it doesn't, thus the pocket holster. It's a five pound trigger pull. I'm a bit concerned about it having one in the pipe. But in a holster that protects the trigger I feel it's safe. I've not had much experience with this gun but I do feel good enough about it to keep it and work with it. It better be good if your gonna carry it next to your junk hey? If I do shoot off my junk I'll try to get back here and let you know it was a bad idea!
I don't need to see you shoot !
This is a perfect "no BS" review, thank you !

@@speedloads2469 and Amanda, would you say this gun is accurate within 15 yards? or is 10 yards more realistic
@@josevidal8825 it certainly isn't designed to shoot B8's from 25 yards. With that said, it's surprisingly easy (with practice) to hold an ISPC A-Zone
Love the sights!! Very cool and different. Liked - subscribed! 👍👍👍
Thank you very much Strive 2 Survive! Very different, and far more effective than I initially thought.

Just put one on layaway! Can't wait to get it out and take it for a spin!
Great video!
Nice Styxfan73, please let me know what you think about it once you've put some rounds down range with it.

Absolutely! Paying it off in less than a week now!, can't wait!
Thank you. I'm considering on buying the sas slide for my p938 because I like how sleek it looks. Plus I love the bullseye. 😊

Thanks , nice concise analysis!
Thank you Robert Sutphen, that is precisely what I was going for.
Tritium sights with fiber optics OR just fiber optic? I've heard mixed things. I'm not getting one unless it has tritium.
Nice brief review. Right on the money concerning the sight design.
Just saw one at a pawn shop. It feels so nice in your hand
Just got my first Sig. P320 compact 45. Think I need to get another one now.
It's all about having the ability to choose the right tool for the job!
0:34 "got rid of the slide lock" it _appears_ as though they merely *recessed* the slide lock. is that not correct?
Loved the video. I appreciated the comment of your having proctologist's fingers, having been in general practice for 50 years.😂
Green means go!
Most people don't truly daily carry. If you do, this is perfect. I am wondering what the Lima Green would be like on this p365 sas.
Good review ... have one love it
Does anyone know if the sights are replaceable? My sights seem very dim. Thank you in advance.
I gotta get some thunder wear 😂

Junk carry!. Awesome. Ha. I like the range videos. Does the sight picture stay in your vision under rapid shots?

I hope this gun has an safety because it's a pocket carry gun.
I recommend using a proper holster.

@ Let's all hope that doesn't happen! A good quality holster and awareness goes a very long way. And practice, practice, practice with what you carry.
Gunny Sharp checkout the boraii pocket holsters. Minimalist, and complete kydex coverage of trigger guard. Makes a sleeve pocket holster look stupid.
I sell a couple of these every week.
Wow, just when I thought my p365 was an awesome ccw, they bring out the sas. Anyone looking for a nice used p365 🤣
Worst accuracy of any handgun i’ve ever shot. But then again, it’s designed for a specific purpose
Underwear carries pretty hilarious
Gun is ok, sights are rubbish. Way off to the left and unable to adjust. Forget about the sights working at all in dim light. Best to avoid this one.
Do you get a lot of attention from women when you wear thunderwear?
And girls 😉...
