奈良先端科学技術大学院大学は、奈良県生駒市にある国立大学院大学です🏫
大学院であって大学ではありませんが、略称は奈良先端大、NAIST（ナイスト）と呼ばれます📢
私の時代は情報科学研究科・バイオサイエンス研究科・物質創成科学研究科に分かれていましたが、2018年から全ての研究科が統合され、その下に3つの領域、情報科学領域・バイオサイエンス領域・物質創成科学領域が設けられている形になったようです📚
・情報科学研究科 - シンボルカラーは赤。
情報科学・情報工学・数学・制御工学などが融合した研究が行われている。
・バイオサイエンス研究科 - シンボルカラーは緑。
理学・工学・農学・医学・薬学・バイオインフォマティクスなどにまたがる広範囲の研究が行われている。
・物質創成科学研究科 - シンボルカラーは青。
物質科学をテーマに、理学(物理・化学・生物)・工学（電子デバイス・再生医療・材料工学・応用物理・応用化学）が融合した研究が行われている。
またバイオサイエンスでは2012年のノーベル生理学・医学賞受賞者である山中伸弥教授が京都大学に移籍する前に在籍、初めて自分の研究室を持ちiPS細胞の研究を開始、人生の決定的な転機となったところである。一番弟子の高橋和利さん等に出会ったのもここである。山中教授が研究に使用した機材は今も保管されている。

The Nara Institute of Science and Technology is a national graduate school located in Ikoma, Nara Prefecture.
Although it is a graduate school and not a university, it is abbreviated as NAIST (Nara Institute of Science and Technology)📢
During my time, the school was divided into the Graduate School of Information Science, Graduate School of Biological Sciences, and Graduate School of Materials Science, but since 2018, all graduate schools have been integrated, and it seems that there are now three fields under it: Information Science, Biological Science, and Materials Science. 📚
・Graduate School of Information Science - The symbol color is red.
Research is conducted that combines information science, information engineering, mathematics, control engineering, and more.
・Graduate School of Biosciences - Its symbolic color is green.
A wide range of research is conducted here, spanning science, engineering, agriculture, medicine, pharmacy, bioinformatics, and more.
・Graduate School of Materials Science - The symbolic color is blue.
Research on materials science combines science (physics, chemistry, biology) and engineering (electronic devices, regenerative medicine, materials engineering, applied physics, applied chemistry).
In addition, in biosciences, Professor Shinya Yamanaka, winner of the 2012 Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine, was enrolled here before transferring to Kyoto University, where he had his first laboratory and began researching iPS cells, marking a decisive turning point in his life. It was also here that he met his most talented student, Kazutoshi Takahashi. The equipment used by Professor Yamanaka in his research is still stored here.
