Some are honestly great such as new costumes and even bringing back some old sound effects from Plantation, others not so good, such as Mizzy’s new voice and outfit, as well as trying to butcher the original theme song.
i really liked where these refurbishment upgrades were going when they first started last year, but they just keep getting worse now. i hate scarlett’s new voice lines, could they have chosen anyone more uninterested sounding?? she sounds so monotone now and the accent is so clearly forced. and the awful cut of “this plantation” from this music sounds horrible. now i really do prefer the pre-2023 version, even though it looked like a victoria’s secret and looked so dreary, im really starting to think it was better lol
@@TackyFlamingoI honestly kind of agree with the whole Mizzy Scarlet’s new lines thing. I did notice though they are kind of trying to go back to the old Monster Plantation lines, especially in the last scene when she says “Is everyone accounted for? Oh, good, good.” That line is directly from The Monster Plantation. But the voice actor could still put more effort, like bring the original back or bring the woman back for the holiday overlay, at least she sounded more interested.
@@TheGoodC.ParksandMore i did notice that too and do appreciate the monster plantation acknowledgment, but yeah the voice actor is what really kills it for me. i just can’t stand it
@@jimbo8958 they contracted a lot of companies to help with the new cosmetics and changes. They probably asked Garner Holt for a bird animatronic and they had a spare one in storage that worked.

Yeah, that’s the only downside to these new changes. It sounds very phoned in and not done by a professional VA but rather a park employee.

The exterior and interior’s have been aesthetically upgraded for certain. Mizzy’s voice is a tremendous downgrade.. 😢
