I love Boris. One thing that I really enjoy about his music is that when you're there, you can choose to be an active listener or not. I've been to two of his shows, and you can see in this video, people having full blown conversations. A lot of other music doesn't allow you to do that. So excited for Red Rocks this year.

I just came from the LA show for New years. It was the best sound system I've ever heard. It was a type of showcase with other djs, and when boris came on, everybody came to the front. For thr first time, not only did i hear the music but actually got to see and understand how hes not only a dj but a sound engineer and how he can juggle sounds and beats and change thrm at will playing with them in front of you all while making you dance. Incredible!!! Boris is a genius. I ended up getting a duck, came out on his video at the end getting the duck, and now put the duck next to my signed mask. What a way to start the new year blessed!
If you believe Boris is live mixing all the beats/samples you got two choices either you keep popping the blue pill or have some guts and take the red one. Don't get me wrong i absolutely love Boris he hits me in the right spot all the time.
@Odder-Being I'm not saying producing live. I'm saying mixing. He produces in his studio, makes a song, then takes that file and puts it in the CDJs and mixes. But as a producer, you can tell he knows every single beat in his own music and messes with the mix, and yes, I think he does it because I've heard him in two same shows back to back, and it was slightly different. Unless you had a synthesizer and other equipment like I saw Anyma have at the Sphere and a different set for every night. Then maybe they're making different variations because the show I went to on the 30th was different than the one on the 31st, and also with live performances. But hey, I make some music and have Ableton and FL Studio, and I DJ, and I will never be at the level of these artists. These people are sound engineers at another level. Like I said, that venue was for audiophiles because the sounds were crystal clear, maybe due to the fact that it was in a contained space.
