- New @OfficialCoheed song "The Joke" came out today and I love it! I don't own an 8 string, but that didn't stop me from tuning down to G Standard and attempt to teach myself "The Joke." It's definitely not a note for note cover, but it's a killer riff and I hope you enjoy my attempt at it.

You got this one out fast. The video for that song is pretty crazy. I would have never guessed the Joker would actually be in the video.
And he was dressed just like the Joaquin Phoenix Joker….maybe this is gonna be in the soundtrack 🤔🤔
@@NickPerezMusic It could be in the soundtrack. I actually forgot they were doing a sequel. I really like the first one, not a big Lady Gaga fan but I'll give her a chance.
They played Deranged (from the Arkham Asylum soundtrack) for the first time live at pool deck show on the last cruise. We’ve been begging for it for a long time, it was amazing. Claud wore a joker mask during the performance. ‘The Joke’ was developed as part of the an album writing process. Whether that’s Vaxis II or Vaxis III I’m not sure. But to use this song and a ‘24 mix of Deranged to release a fun cross universe EP I think is absolutely genius. And who knows? Maybe it’ll have some connection to The Joker film, that’d be cool. Really enjoying how they keep giving us fans more to have fun with. 🔥🔥

I am curious if he will use an 8 string live for this or just tune down. Obviously the official music video means nothing, but they were using 6 strings, I need to get some heavy top skinny bottoms to try this out lol
claudio uses 8 strings for some songs, prolly gonna use it for this one as well
Yea i'd assume he's gonna use an 8 string, but maybe that means gravity's union will be in the set too
