I firmly believe that if the game were to be fixed and re-scripted now, it would be more popular than Apocalypse Rising 2 at this very moment. Apoc 2 is good in all for some people but Apoc is so simple and non abstract, it's "Simple" and that's why it was so fun.
The simplicity of the game made it a good game but not sure about it being more popular than ar2 nowadays since Roblox has changed as a platform over the years, cant tell though. 🤷♂️
Does everyone remember the days when you would call your friends on Skype then play apoc for hours then in the game you would have the radio and sing along with your friends and sometimes you would hear the podcast that would play on it. I want that back so bad I’m now 20 years old and it really just hurts to see that can never really be replicated

I meet hack just 2 weeks ago. Idk why other guys told me Apoc2 have anti cheat really well. But i really saw hack. He fly from leg me and kill me and my teamate just shotgun. We lost all. At this time, i just find M60 and so happy but… hacker broke this time… i stop played apoc2 and i will come back when game have new event :D ( sorry, my english not good )
I remember getting out of school and playing Apoc for the rest of the day till bed time. Base building was so fun. The fact that building isn’t in Apoc 2 makes it way less fun

One time I had a tractor (apocalypse rising 1) that I drove around. A while later, I see a massive hoard of bandits in a group (literally an entire stampede of them) come over a hill and then start chasing me when they saw I had a tractor. They chased me for over 20 minutes straight all over the map. They tried shooting out my wheels, but I kept angling to make them miss. They just wouldn't let up with the chase. No one had the tractor before me, it was just a random tractor I found and fixed up. I eventually managed to lose them after a long chase and I survived as well as kept my tractor. Out of everything I have seen while playing apocalypse rising, that was bonkers.

apocalypse rising 1 was the reason i joined roblox so many memories i made on that game and friends that i no longer speak to anymore its sad that it died miserably with hackers upon hackers
Although I hated apoc 2 early on and regretted buying it (still do tbh), now it’s alright, it takes some adjustment but I’ve found it to be pretty fun, but with how concealed the map is compared to ar1, you really need to roll with a friend for those extra eyes if you don’t wanna get mag dumped cause you decided to take a sip of soda at the wrong time and place.
I still contemplate whether apoc 2 or apoc 1 is better than one another, apoc 2 is obviously better in game mechanics since its newer but I feel as if apoc 1 had more of the “survivability” aspect than apoc 2 because apoc 2 is way too vibrant to be labeled as a “zombie apocalyptic” game.

I’m an Xbox Apoc player. Byfron didn’t last long as I literally have mutliple screenshots from this month of hackers in Xbox servers. They aren’t common as they used to be, but they are still here. But I love the game to death and always will.
Byfron really only lasted a week or less because of Roblox having different softwares not having Byfron, like the microsoft store version of Roblox, apple devices like mac, and mobile players. Hopefully Roblox spending millions of dollars and time into buying out Byfron will be worth it if they do patch all of the backdoors for cheaters.
Last time I played this game I got assassinated. I was just walking around and this black truck pulled up behind me, and a group of people got out of the trucks with samurai swords and hunted me down.

Before Byfron, there were about 5 or more hackers in each server. With Byfron being implemented and constantly updating, there are barely any exploits that go on between AR1 servers which I find hard to believe to this day.

Unfortunately AR 1 has been getting hacked again even after Byfron was implemented. I believe there was 2 good days of Apocalypse Rising right when the anti-cheat was implemented before everything fell back into fire because youtubers keep making videos of bypassing the anti-cheat or some cheaters are not playing Roblox on 64-bit windows (which leads Mac and mobile hackers/exploiters immune to cheating). What Roblox SHOULD be doing is expanding into the 32-bit range since hackers don't generally quit easily after one cheating source is patched. Another move Roblox should make and this may be a ruthless idea, but channels that promotes hacks/cheats for competitive advantages on games should just be flat out terminated. My idea is basic as it can be: RUclipsrs don't deserve an audience that promotes obstruction/ruining games unfairly. It's the equivalent of building a mob to break Terms of Service that users have complied to when making an account to the game. The reason I say this is because you take away revenue from the creator when people actively ruin his game making him lose motivation, new players, supporters, robux for dev exchange, etc. I maybe even go to an extent of threatening a cease and desist order considering the one case where a "condo creator" who was backed into a corner after all his past actions have caught up to him from making revenue of uploading inappropriate roblox games. Maybe exploiting channels aren't at a level such as that, but I sincerely do not believe in any mercy for these individuals that promote this attitude on Roblox. and kids upvote this stuff while being ignorant to people who just want to fun games normally. At the end of it all, I hope Roblox, despite being late on this issue, at least manages to came out on top in the end so players can play classics or any game in peace.
I really do take all the stuff you said here into consideration, I really do think all exploits/hacks (good or bad for whatever reason) shall be terminated in an instant. There has been too many problems with exploits on Roblox and it sickens me to see this happening again.
they should make a new mode in apoc 2 called legacy and it would use apoc 2 systems inventory etc but use reimagined or amend map and with like the classic backpacks hiking, military etc + weapons and spawns on ground loot
