Loretta Lynn was 90 years old when she died at her home in Hurricane Mills, Tennessee. Her death was unexpected in that fans had no warning that she was ill, and she may not have been. We can’t help but zoom in on what would be her final message to fans, sent at 9AM on October 2nd. Take a look for yourself. Lynn’s last words were a Bible verse, John 3:20-21. “Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that their deeds will be exposed. But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what they have done has been done in the sight of God.” If that hits, give a thumbs up. “Everyone who does evil hates the light … but whoever lives by the truth comes into the light.”

I’ve never known life without Miss Loretta. RIP You will be missed.
Me either. I had to age to enjoy country music, but I started to love it in my forties, but I always loved Loretta.
@@starrlara3109 I’m 57 and have been a country music lover ever since I was a kiddo. Not sure why.. my sisters are not country music fans.
I know I'm sad. My Mom loved her .my Mom's gone too. It's so hard without her.
@@christinemott8799 yes I lost my mom 2 years ago it is a pain like no other I have ever experienced. I will pray for you to be met with simple kindness. It is the best medicine for us right now. I am comforted by the fact that at 60 years old it will not be long till I am with her agin. I try to concentrate on how happy she is reunited with past loved ones and past loved pets the beautiful things she is seeing. Take care give yourself the grace you would give others.
Rest in Peace Loretta Lynn

Coal miner's daughter was the song that touched me the most. I was raised by a coal miner and my mom was too and the song sounded a lot like how my mom and Mamaw was raised. Being raised in Appalachia, only we know how hard these coal miner's work to provide for their families. She was so real and honest and I loved that about her! ❤️🙏
Miss Loretta lynn was the best there ever was
Rip Loretta Lynn. Deepest condolences to the family

A very special woman. Coal miners daughter was my favorite, she was true to herself and humble to the end. She is with her Savior. Amen
I've been playing Loretta Lynn's "One's on the way" over and over since I found out we are having number 10 the last few days, and then I learned today she passed! RIP Loretta. Thanks for blessing us with your music.
whoa, 10?! haven't heard of that many in quite a while. congratulations. A little bit of light in a sorrowful time.
Awww 😢❤
@@SymphonicEllen Thank you! Not all would agree with you, so this kind of comment really lifts my spirit :-) I never thought I'd have 10 until meeting Jesus. I know now children are a gift
What a mark you left. Thanks for all the joy.
R.I.P LORETTA. One of the true old school gone. They won't make em' like her anymore. Thank you for all the wonderful music over the years. We Country fans will miss you. This new breed of so called Country singers (*if you can call it country) have a lot to do even to get to her status in Country music and what she stood for in her life) ...A Real Country fan. Regards from England. 🏴
Rest well Miss Loretta
R.I.P. to a legend. What an inspiration for everyone in the genre.
@ashley1994 You are, sadly, mistaken.
@ashley1994 what a despicable thing to say especially on someone death! I can tell by the year behind ur name u weren’t raised properly and for that I am sorry for you and ur parents. This woman is an ICON AND LEGEND in a world where those words are thrown around all too easily these days! What she lived through and wrote about as well as her amazing voice is enough to erase what you just wrote. I can tell you are just seeking attention. So please do us all a favor and go away while we celebrate this talented and amazing woman unlike you who no one will remember for such a cruel comment
@ashley1994 looks to me like all of your comments that you’ve made on your channel are negative in some way just to get attention so maybe do something meaningful instead of coming to RUclips to create drama
@ashley1994 And what are you?
@Craig and Barbara Schneider
Rest in Peace is used to say one hopes a person who has died will have peace in death.
Those who die without Christ Jesus will have no "rest", forever separated from God's love will be just a small part of their judgement and eternity in Hell.
🙏
One of my favorite country singers
This is a sad day, but I am grateful that Ms. Loretta died peacefully. The Coal Miners Daughter movie was one of my absolute favorite movies as a child! It will always hold a special place in my heart! My grandparents were always big country music fans. I spent much of my free time with them as a child throughout the 80s & 90s. They were going to take me & my brother to see Loretta Lynn when I was about 8 or 9 years old (our 1st concert), but Ms. Loretta couldnt make it & Dolly Parton came instead. I was sad that I couldnt see Loretta at the time but have since come to appreciate having seen Dolly Parton perform at such a young age. There is a light inside her, for sure! My aunt used to be a karaoke DJ and she used to bring her equipment to family birthday parties & such. Every time we got together throughout my teens & early 20s, my Dad would ask me to sing Coal Miners Daughter for him and I did. He always had the biggest smile on his face. In some way, it was as if the song honored him & all his hard work throughout the years. I can see his face now... Its been over 20 yrs since then, but I'm full of happy memories, of which Loretta Lynn's story & songs were a part. I was so happy to have seen a documentary about her just a few years ago. I hope & pray that her mind, body & soul are at peace. Thank you, Ms. Loretta, for touching my life & my family in a very special way. There will always be a place for you in my heart! May God bless you & keep you always, and may peace be with your family.
Love, Ms. Stacie
(Massachusetts, USA)
P.S. Im gonna go listen to your songs now.

@@lindagore6527 that’s kind of not nice to say about Miss Loretta ! She has her faith and her final message was about the Bible she’s in Heaven you can be certain of that ! She was a good woman. A woman we all loved and will miss !
RIP our beloved Queen of country now a bright Angel in Heaven!
While Loretta Lynn will be remembered as the "Queen of Country," she's now sleeping in death in the grave, unconscious to time and place, until called from it by Jesus Christ at the first or second resurrection (Ecclesiastes 9, John 5).
May she rest in God's loving arms.
R.I.P. Loretta Lynn you will be misse . The Queen Of Country Music.
RIP, FIRST LADY OF COUNTRY MUSIC, you gave us so much, and we'll treasure it forever. 🎶 💔😢🙏❤️🎤🎸👩💼
We will miss Loretta Lynn. She was a talented song writer and singer. Love her ability to express just what was on her mind. My condolences to the family.
I saw Loretta at Front Row Theater in Cleveland, great show. However I was the only one in a T shirt, and it was a Hank Jr. shirt I bought when I saw him at Blossom in 1989. God Bless Loretta and KY. R.I.P.
RIP Loretta Lynn. I Know that a lot of People Will Miss Your Songs.
A beautiful lady in every way, Loretta is singing with the angels in Heaven. R.I.P.❤
She made a definite mark on the lives of many who will continue to cherish her charisma and legacy. For now, she's sleeping in death in the grave until called forth from it by Jesus Christ at the first or second resurrection (John 5).
I loved her so listened to her when growing up
Loretta Lynn was a true legend in country music who will be missed. But the body of work she made over the course of her life lives on to inspire and entertain forever more.
I was raised on her music along with several country and western greats While her music is now more nostalgia to me now I remember a time that many women of her time admired her for speaking her mind through her songs when they themselves could not. She was te hero for many women of her era which a lot people alive today can't begin to imagine a bygone time where marriage a s for live regardless of just how awful it was and where women had very few freedoms unless granted by their husband's. She was among the first music stars who's lyrics were very relatable to many women who often suffered in silence. My favorite song? We've Come Along Way Baby!
With the passing of Loretta lynn I think most of the greats I grew up with are gone now.
I agree. She is a icon a legend that will never die. She will live on thur her fans. Grew up listening to her music. Such a great lady. An angel went home today. We will miss her. Rip ms Loretta. 🙏 prayers to her family and friends.
I do not believe Loretta was a feminist.
Loretta is now with her beloved Mooney!
Hello how are you doing?
Not quite yet. For Loretta and Mooney are both sleeping in death in the grave until called forth from it by Jesus Christ at the first or second resurrection (John 5, Revelation 20).
Rip loretta lynn you're were a true women of songs and words
Loretta Lynn was one of my favorite country music singer and she was also the greatest in singing country music I will miss you . May you Rest In Peace sweet lady
What a beautiful lady and singer/song writer. She's going to be a big loss to the country music realm. She stayed true to herself and her family. Go rest high on your mountain Miss Loretta. Its to hard to pick out just one song; however, Butcher Holler is always the 1st one that comes to mind when your name is mentioned. My thoughts and prayers to all the family.
This lady was unique and sincere!
Was,is,always will be Loretta Lynn queen 👑 of country music 🎵🎼🎼🎼🎵🎶🎵🤠 no one else.
Mr and Mrs used to be! Her and Ernest Tubb had an amazing voice duo sound! Rest In Peace!!

Coal Miners Daughter was my favorite. I'm a coal miner's daughter, born in a coal camp. I live in southeast Kentucky. I love every song she sang. I remember as a kid going to my aunt's house to watch the TV show that she sung on. As I got older I could see the meaning of her songs. I loved hearing Loretta and Conway Twitty singing. My condolences and love to her family..She's singing in heaven tonight.
I live all her songs .Prayers to her family and friends ❤

RIP Loretta. She will always be a legend in music. She had courage to share her music when everyone else wanted to ban it! I loved all her music. And she also stood up for faith and Christianity! Rest in Peace in the Valley. Loved her version of Peace in the Valley. Her music was played often in my house since I was a child. I personally listen to her music on my daily commute to and from work. She will always live on through her music. Several of her songs are a narration of my life. She was a great woman who rose above many obstacles and inspired me to keep pushing through. Her faith was clearly visible through her actions.

Some folks you hope will never die because the world needs them to remind us of what people should aspire to be. Folks like Betty White, the Queen, George Burns, Bob Hope, Billy Graham, my mama Ms. Emma and Ms. Loretta Lynn. The world is not as bright tonight because another great light has gone out. Ms. Loretta paved the way for women in country music (Ain't Woman Enough to Take My Man...favorite song). No one will be as great!!! At last The "Coal Miner's Daughter" can finally "Go Rest High on that Mountain" 🥺😢
