I can't believe I audibly gasped watching this trailer, it's unironically so fucking cool, and the diversity of the characters makes me so hyped for whats to come
But they design completely sucks. I really should believe what dude with contrabass, pupprt-girl or prison-gitl should be real dangerous for ICP, Penaconi or even express 🗿
I think each of the characters has a hit. Constance was told to leave the Rememberance’s tomb obviously referring to Black Swan. Dubra was set to destroy the Elation so is going after Sparkle Akash was told to destroy Harmony so is going for the family, Sunday, or Robin Caterina was told to melt gold of preservation (obviously referring to the IPC), Aventurine is a part of the IPC and as stated before so she’s going after him.
i have a theory that constance is going for march 7th, not black swan, since we knew march has a connection to the rememberance and shes rumored to be related to fuli themselves
Yeah but how can they know what March's path is when even himeko nor welt doesn't know so i think its black swan since she is quite literally a figure head but she herself knows March's origins probably
When they're talking about the aeons, I think they meant do something about the visitors to Penacony that represents the aeons? preservation > (IPC) aventurine remembrance > (Garden) black swan elation > (masked fools) sparkle harmony > the family

I want Dubra to be playable so f*cking badly man. their first non humanoid playable would be sick(even tho i can see her as just being the puppet in the overworld). Tho, she's most likely going to be just a boss we'll have to eventually defeat sadly
Shes one of the most unique characters from the entire game, it would really be a shame if she wasnt playable, but i think all 5 of these characters will be playable, since their design dont seem to be a problem to animate (like signoras), they all look good from the back (unlike signora), and also the fact that theres only 5 of them might help, since the harbingers are 11 it would be very complicated to release all of them, but with only 5 they could release half of them in one nation and the other half in another nation, or they could release all of them in a single nation too

Dubra might be playable. The Puppet could act as her Overworld Body and during the fight the Larger real Dubra could appear like Svarog for Clara. Also what's with them giving the children what are essentially Stands lol.
If I had to make a guess, the apple with an exposed spine might imply two things If we go with the Norse version, the golden apple with the exposed spine might mean severing immortality If we go with the Greek version, it'd be sowing discord and infighting between gods and men
Pretty crazy plot drop here. Annihilation Gang under the path of Destruction is basically declaring war vs every single faction that was invited and will be present at Penacony. Duke Inferno assigns each of the members of the gang to face off with each faction. Faction 1 assigned to Dubra: Elation -> Sparkle (Masked Fools) Faction 2 assigned to Akash: Harmony -> Sunday + Robin (The Family) (Akash looks like he would fit right into a party hosted by Sunday as a musician) Faction 3 assigned to Caterina: Preservation -> Aventurine (IPC) (vaults like IPC banks) Faction 4 assigned to Constance: Remembrance -> Black Swan (you can see the burning flower in Duke Inferno's hand) Outside factors that can influence the fight are - The Stellaron Hunters (Sam), The Astral Express, Acheron, Dr. Ratio (Intelligentsia Guild or Erudition followers) Surely there are no deaths in this arc right? Hunt and Abundance are absent since they have their own separate conflict at the moment.

This was such a cool trailer. Some of the dialogue makes me wonder if Irifit is like Thanos, experimenting on his "children" and giving them powers. Akash - Set fire to your eyes. He's wearing dark glasses indoors in a dark room. Is he blind? Did he lose his eyes to gain his abilities? Dubra - Set fire to your form. She seems to be talking through a puppet, while she has no body. Just a ribcage looking appearance inside the robe, like that in the golden apple. The other two are a bit more mysterious. Caterina - Set fire to your heart. Her shoes seem to be mechanical. Is she a cyborg of some sort? Constance - The only thing I can think of.. she's Nihility. Excellent character building, and there's hype again after a dull couple of months in the game. Looking forward to 2.0! I love the "Aww... she's so CUUTE... oh. okay. maybe not so cute". Lol. I think Dubra's human body(the little girl) is just a puppet and the real body is the thing behind her. Duke Inferno said that he ingnited the flame which gave her a physical body and the little girl has strings attached to her. A very cool desing and the most interesting use of "loli" body type i have ever seen. It actually makes sense😂
They are destruction since annihilation gang is a stranded faction of nanook often look down by legion and lord ravager. The fact that they tried to assasinate IX by getting elation blessing (since aha find it comical) and failed miserably make me think they might not that competent.
The point is not the fight but how in the world they think they had chance to win in the 1st place. Since the gang hell bent on destroying stuff without thinking, they were look down upon. Even in current event dr ratio hijack ifrit ploy by making it impisible for ifrit to throw the scientist into space. In the entire event even screwlum ignore him and focus its eyes on dr ratio. Lastly ther not so smart tendency are amplified when ifrits daugther ask him to use strategy and think for plsn b which he scoff.
I havent been this excited for something in a long time and im so so so happy, were finally getting a proper villian group, i feel like we've been starved of them, thats why phantilia was such a nice surprise, having an actual villian villian and a super morally grey character, which are great ofc but its just nice to have an actual villian, just unadulterated villiany, im so pumped, im already so fascinated by these characters, and before anyone says anything, no i dont consider jingliu or luocha a villian

I am so excited for Penacony especially because it looks like its going to be combining some of my favorite things in fiction, the glitz and glam of Las Vegas and indulgence, amd RELIGIOUS SYMBOLISM! This trailer reeks of religious symbolism so much that i almost dont feel cool pointing it out. First, we have Duke Inferno, i mean, it's in the name, Dante's Inferno. And his other name, Ifrit, i looked it up and it turns out that that's the name of a type of demon in Islamic culture. Also, hoyo really gave us a flaming goat man and expected us to forget that the devil is described as cloven hooved. Second, Dubra! Also very obvious symbolism, she's literally dressed like a tiny Catholic priest. But also, Apples! For one who appears to be a follower of the lord she sure is fond of the forbidden fruit. She in her character design is holding an apple, and, of course, there was golden apple in her kinda introduction screen! I find the fact that it's a golden apple interesting because as you said, it can represent immortality, but if we go over to greek mythology for a second, then we have the Golden Apple of Eris, sower of chaos and the thing that caused the Trojan war. So i think that's a fun tie in to their whole Destruction thing. Third, we have Akash! This one is a bit more of a stretch but in his intro scene he has the eyeball surrounded by floating rings, biblically accurate Angels anyone? As for the other two i cant really think of too many ties, Constance has the horns and tail obviously but i cant obviously see much else. The infinitely blooming flower is probably an interesting symbol from some culture but I dont know where it's from. There might also be something in her clothes because i feel like it definitely drew inspiration from a specific time period, but i dont really know enough about fashion history to know if it could lead to interesting parallels to her character. Finally Caterina, the most i can get from her is the ball and chain plus 'devils dont fly', her intro scene also doesn't have much in the way of symbolism as far as i can tell, though maybe she's like Constance's flower and im just not sure exactly what the vault of gold symbolizes. Actually, I'm looking at her design a bit more and i think she kinda has a pentagram made up from the straps on her chest, so thats fun. Anyways, that's just everything i can pull from them right now concerning religious or cultural references, super excited for Penacony, and loved the video!

Kafka is shown during an interrogation, we are told about their actions, while the heroine introduces ambiguity into the accusations, and in the end it all ends with a pretentious shot of the team. We understand that these are badass guys and they have their own motives. Harbingers of Fatui. They meet at a colleague's FUNERAL. Everyone is dressed in a stylish coat and expresses in a couple of remarks what type of activity they conduct and how to treat their comrades. We are shown all the diversity of their organization and end the trailer with a pathetic speech about their common goal. What's going on here? An evil villain with his servants, talking about how they will humiliate other eons, trying to create pathos and fear with dudes dressed like clowns?! We should be afraid of a dude with contrabass, loli-puppet (than we already saw Svarog and Sam) or ANOTHER pretentious and mysterious mommy character?! This is the level of villainous children's cartoons. More like Aha clowns, than distraction servants. Such disappointing what we will spend screen time on them, rather steralon hunters or even ICP plans.

It's actually really cool design for this place in Penacony. What wrong with the puppet? It's freakin awesome design. You want the villain all get the same design like Luofu character? I mean, even in the lore, Annihilation Gang is kinda like a clown. They destroy everything for Nanook but Nanook doesn't even care about them because their destruction are meaningless.
