- ► Join me as I show you a step by step guide to travel from Paris (Gare du Nord train station) to Disneyland Paris by TRAIN, using the French metro RER. I start the journey in London's St Pancras Station, get the Eurostar to Paris Gare du Nord (central Paris), and then get the metro (RER) to Marne la Vallée Chessy (Disneyland Paris). I show you how to get tickets, how much they cost, which part of the stations you need to go to and where you need to change. Let me know if this was helpful at all, and feel free to ask any questions in the comments. Have you ever gone to Disneyland Paris through this route?

I was just looking at Disneyland Paris holidays and stressing how to get from Paris to the park as I'd never done it this way before and you go and upload this! Clearly a sign to book I think 😉
Haha love that!! Yes, it’s a sign ☺️ Enjoy! X
I have been to Paris Marne-la-Valée chesy Disneyland
Thank you so much for this. We are planning a vacation this summer to London, Paris and then various cities through Italy and will be making this exact trip! This was so helpful! I literally would love to hire you as our guide. You are just a gem!
Aw thank you Angela, glad the videos have been helpful :) And hope you have an amazing time! x
Awww Sam that brings back memories. We travelled back from DLP to London on the Eurostar via Gare du Nord. It was one of the most stressful moments in our travel history. It was peak hour and you know just what I mean when I say the trains were packed. Travelling with two large suitcases, we got a little disoriented changing lines, then we managed to get on the D train only to realise we were going the wrong direction 🤦♀️. I’m usually the one who takes the lead but I was so stressed as we were so close to missing our Eurostar departure time I had a melt down. A very kind gentleman who spoke only very limited English managed to get us on the right platform back in the right direction. Usually peak hour everyone is trying to get home so no one is really wanting to help others but we were so grateful to that man. Earlier in our Paris trip trying to find our hotel we got lost and a lovely French couple walked with us to our hotel. I have nothing but respect for the people of Paris.
So refreshing to read your comment, as opposed to the tired cliches spread by people who don't even know Paris. I've been a frequent visitor - and occassional short term resident - for over 30 years now (my son is actually French) and that's exactly my experience too.
Thank you so much for this video. It is incredibly helpful. I'm going solo later this year and I was so worried about this journey but you've really put me at ease and answered every question I had.
Another great video!! I’ve recently discovered your channel while doing some research before visiting Disneyland Paris back in September and I have been hooked on watching your videos ever since , especially watching all of your previous Disney trips! Thank you for all your lovely videos Sam🥰
Aww thank you so much, Aisling! ☺️ Hope you had an amazing time in September x
Thank you so much. My family and I are traveling from the states to London, and then on Eurostar to Paris and then Paris Disneyland. Thank you for helping us figure out our trip
Solo traveling from the Paris city centre and this has just made me feel so prepared. Thanks a million for doing it!!!
My pleasure! x
I just started watching your videos. Thanks for making them. I'm 58 and I live in Dallas Texas, USA and I've been to Disney World about 100 times and I feel the same way you do when I arrive - I've left the 'real' world behind and now I'm in the 'Disney bubble'. I've NEVER had a bad Disney trip - it's my happy place. :)
Hi John, and welcome to my channel :) It's such a great feeling, isn't it - no matter which Disney park, it always feel magical. I hope to visit your home park of Disney World again in the new year.
Thank you so much Sam, so helpful as we're doing this journey later in the year.
I have been dying to find such a detailed video of getting from gare du nord to disneyland, so glad I found this. We have always used uber and I cannot believe how cheap the rer is. Thanks so much :)
No way! I was actually searching for this special topic (or to go from DLP to CDG airport) this morning and now I get one from one of my favorite vloggers. Thank you and always have nice and safe trips!
Aww thank you! :) Glad the video came at a good time for you, and hope it’s helped ☺️
Thank you so much for this video! Super informative and descriptive!
Watched this last year when we went and just watched again as we going again this weekend ! It made it so simple and was so very helpful! Thanks so much for taking the trouble to do 😊
this is really helpful. thank you for sharing.
Thank you thank you! So much for this! Coming from the states, this gonna be super helpful when we head to Paris for Disney!
Este video estuvo increíble! Muchas gracias
Paris is so well connected. I love the city and Disneyland too ❤ had so many wonderful experiences there and lovely memories
Actually, guess what? At the start of the journey is Gare Du Nord. There are trains from all over Europe that go to that station. In my case for example there is a train from Brussels to that. And I can take a train near me to Brussels. Actually, I can book a ticket from Brussels straight to Disneyland. How you get from your house in the Netherlands to Brussels is another thing, but it's possible. And we're working on more international trains and no more booking. Just like you use trains in the Netherlands and Belgium. But I'm pretty sure you can take a regular train from Breda, NL to Brussels, BE now. And even from Kortrijk, BE to Lille, FR. So technically you can go to Paris via Lille without booking. Welcome to Europe!
Thank you so much for this video. My gf and I are going to Paris in about two weeks and I’m planning ahead so we don’t get lost. We won’t be travelling from this station but it was still super helpful!🖤
Omg Sam, this was so helpful! Usually take the Thalys from the Netherlands directly to DLP but due to COVID, this year I have to go from Gare du Nord to DLP but I know exactly where to go! Which is going to make it a lot less stressful! Thank you and have a lovely trip, cannot wait to watch the rest of your videos and get excited for mine next month ✨🥰
Ahh so glad this has helped! Thanks so much for your lovely comment :)
Excellent video and just what we needed in advance of our trip from London to Disneyland Paris via the same route.
Glad it was helpful :)
So helpful! You’re amazing❤
Just what I was looking for❤So informative and clear, thank you so much

Hi Sam
Thanks to your video, we were able to travel to DLP for first time from Paris without any problem. Our trip was very smooth and enjoyable ! we are actually planning our next trip !!! hopefully to see you there !!
Watched this so many times and will watch more times for our upcoming trip this winter and we are taking this route. Thanks Sam! Xo
So helpful and doesn't look so complicated. Thank you for the guide 😊
☺️☺️☺️
This was so helpful. Thank you!
Just for people not to be confused, there’s a huge difference between RER and Metro. To keep the parallel you established in the video, RER is more like an Overground. It’s a suburbs train that has some stations in the city. The Paris Tube is the « Métro » and it’s almost exclusively in the city of Paris, even though some stations are in the closer suburbs. It’s important not to be confused between both
Because this is now open this is an equivalent of the crossrail project
I'd call the RER the lighrail. More suited to suburban areas.
But well, in Rotterdam area the metro becomes a tram overground venturing out of the city, both to the west and the north-west - a fairly new line to The Hague.
So what is a metro and what is lightrail? Yeah. Okay. But in Paris this is definately the RER and not le métro.
@@PendelStevenexcept that it's heavy rail. :)
RER is much closer to the Elizabeth line than the overground.
Watching this as I prepare to visit Paris one day! And of course Disneyland 😻
Thank you very much. Very helpful, we going to London and then the Eurostar to Paris and finally Disneyland Paris for the first time! Can’t wait. 😍
Ahh you're most welcome, Janique! :) Hope you have the most magical trip! x
This is amazing, thank you, somthing I’ve bern worried about but you have put me at ease and now ready for my trip next week
Glad the video was helpful for you, Adam :) Hope you have a wonderful trip!
i'm gonna be visiting Paris and going to Disneyland for Christmas for the first time! your videos have been really helpful! thank you
Very helpful! I’m planning my first trip to Disneyland Paris this summer. It was helpful to see the sign for the incoming trains - I would have misread it and gotten on the wrong train but now I feel prepared. Thank you!
You're most welcome! Glad it was helpful :)

Many people have said it but I would like to say it again: very helpful and informative video! Thank you so much!
Thank you :) Glad it was helpful x
Thank you! I am making the trek alone from Paris to Disneyland next month.
Thank you so much for this.
loved this video. I am going to Disneyland Paris in march next year, and it is my first time going without my parents. so I was really worried about the route from Paris to Disney and this made it so much better.
So glad to read that Shannon - hope you have the best time! x
I go next week to Paris then on to Disney. Never been before and I have serious anxiety with tubes etc. this was a massive help and calmed my nerves. Thank you soooo much!!! 😁😁
You're most welcome, Carly! Have an amazing time :)
Such a helpful video!!
I've done this journey one time before. I went to a human cause those ticket machines were confusing! But I didn't know they had a search by tourist attraction, that's so much easier.
I hope you do a Covid related video next. It's quite overwhelming what documents the UK and France requires at the moment
Glad to read Charlotte, thanks :)
The problem with doing Covid Requirement videos is that the rules change so often, I don’t want to say something that may change 2 weeks later 🥴
At the moment France just needs you to be fully vaccinated and be able to prove it x
No more restricciones if you are fully vaccinated..👏👏so happy I will travel soon..
this video is so helpful, me and my partner watched it prior and whilst navigating our way through the RER! thank you so much
Ahh you're most welcome, Jessica! :)
Super helpful! I love that there's a cheap, easy way to get to DLP from Paris proper. Now I know how to do it!
Glad this was helpful, Tony :)
just want to say thank you for making this video = I watched it over and over before our trip. We only had a few hours to spend at DLP but gut there quick and easy thanks to your instructions . . .
Thank you for this
Thank you, thank you, thank you ♥️ our Disneyland Paris Hero!
This video is amazing
Thank you, I will be there soon
I’m french, i live in Paris and I go often to Disneyland but I had a good moment looking ur video, ur a really good guide. Hope u had a wonderful time at DLP !
great advice thank you!
You're most welcome, Craig!
I've stumbled across your channel while researching for a disneyland trip in October and I just wanted to say thank you so much. This is the exact journey I'll be doing with my son when we come and although I still feel super anxious it's so nice knowing what to expect x
It won't work. There are no more paper tickets, it's all virtual now. You will want to purchase a "navigo easy" pass, costing 2€ and then "charge" it with any ride you want to take in the city. I think automated machines sell the navigo cards, you don't have to go at the desk.
@Desi365 sorry, it won't work? Are you saying the route Sam has taken is not the same? Or literally just the fact that the way tickets are bought now are different?
It looks like just the tickets have changed
@hollypowner8167 oh that's OK, I can cope with that 😅
Going to Disneyland Paris in April, so this is very helpful Thank you ☺️
Glad to read that Lily. Hope you have an amazing time when you go!
I've been there 10 days ago. Somehow RUclips recommended your video. Anyway, it brought back very nice memories. Thank you!
This is huge help for me as I plan my trip. Thank you so much!
Most welcome :)
Wonderfully detailed video! We’ll be headed there in a few short weeks and doing a day trip to Disney so this is very helpful. I haven’t been to DisneyParis since it first opened so looking forward to returning 30 years later!
Thanks so much, Charles :) Glad you found it helpful x
This was excellent and we are going to do this exact same route in March 2022!!! You're videos are so fun to watch!
Thanks so much, James! :)
Thank you so much for this video! It was really helpful. It’ll be my first time going so now I have an idea
You're most welcome :) Hope it's a smooth journey for you x
I'm watching this almost a year later and it was super helpful, because the train that goes directly to the disneyland park from the netherlands only rides on friday and saturday now since covid and it does go to paris nord so this was amazing and helpful to see how i can get to the park!
Thank you so much! We're taking this exact journey, plus a stop at Torcy, at the beginning of Jan 2022
You’re most welcome x
Thank you Sam. This has put my mind at ease. I’ve accidentally bought Eurostar tickets from St Pancras to Paris. I realise now I prob should have bought tickets to Lille. But never mind first time to Disney so I’m learning as I go! X
Thank you so much! This video really helped me ❤
Glad to read that :)
Loved this. So helpful!
Thank you ☺️
thank you so much for this! This is amazingly helpful!
You're most welcome :)
Thanks for the video! Traveling from Eiffel Tower to DLP next week (first time to Paris in 32 years!) and your video was very informative!
Such a great and helpful video!!!
Thank you ☺️
Really helpful video! Enjoy your trip! ✨
Thanks Millie :)
Thanks for the video Sam! Last time I took the RER was in 2014 and I remember ticket machines were quite confusing, had to buy my tickets at the counter... now it looks really straightforward!
Looking forward to your next videos, have a great time at DLP!
Yeah, thankfully it’s a lot easier now 🙏🏼 I remember the first few times I did this journey, I also found the older machines confusing so just spoke to humans to purchase my tickets! 😂
Ahah glad to know it wasn’t just me! 😂
Thank you so much for this video Sam! I usually get the direct Eurostar but have booked it to GDN for April with someone who has done this journey many times, but they are now not coming on the trip and I was panicking about it, but you've really helped to ease my mind (although I know I'll panic on the day!) Xx
Ahh so glad it's helped, Emily! How exciting you're going back in April!! :)
Hello! I really enjoy watching your videos, April will be my first time travelling to Europe and trust me when I say I’m a Disney fan. Disney World has been sitting in my bucket list since I was a kid but Disneyland Paris now is part of it too!
When I went in 2017, I remember I had to change platforms in Châtelet Les Halles, so I had to take a flight of stairs. But there was a lot of construction going on at that time there, so I'm glad to see that you don't need to do that anymore. The station is so crowded and really big, so it's a lot easier now.
Thanks, that was very helpful. I’m going with my family in two months, we’re from Brazil so it helped A LOT.
Ah you’re most welcome! ☺️ have fun! X
that was so very helpful Sam
bless u xo
Thank you :) glad it helped x
THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU this is super helpfull!!
You’re most welcome, Alice! Glad you found it helpful ☺️
thank you so much!!
very helpful, watch your video when i was on may way to Disneyland and did it step by step it's really easy with your clear explanation.
keep going ;)
Glad it was helpful :)
I am currently in France And will be following your video instruction. Thank you. Will update if there are any changes :)
There were no changes. I pretty much followed this video exactly. THANK YOU. I had the best time :D
Btw when you guys decide to stay the whole day till the fire works, leave 10-15 min before the show ends because the train and just exiting Disney will be a horrible experience 😂😂😂 especially when your exhausted and get back to the hotel at 1 am 🥹
Very helpful video, thank you :)
Glad to read that :)
Brilliant. Makes the journey less scary. Flying over from Australia. Very informative
Thank you Emma x
Thankyou we go 22nd December and its our 1st time having to change and not go direct this video is really useful
This is so helpful thank you I’ve booked for February and was so worried about this since I’m going to Disneyland during the rest of my Paris holiday :)
Ah glad it helped Lydia! Hope you have the best time! X
Really helpful thanks!
Glad it's helped x
This is super helpful! I’m going to Disneyland Paris in the fall & have been trying to figure out if I should take the train or pay for the Disney shuttle. This makes me feel confident enough in my ability to get there on my own from the train.
Aw I'm so glad it's been helpful for your trip x
very good video with very good explanations, thank you very much
You're most welcome x
Great video Sam. Thank you. I am off to Disneyland on the 25th Oct and will try this route.
Hi Sam - just got back and the RER journey was so easy and great value - thanks again
Thank you!
we’re stopping in paris due to the eurostar cancelling the direct disney train service until march. this is very helpful, thank you so much!
Glad it's been helpful, Claire :) Hope you have a great time x
Thank you, Sam!
I'm planning a trip to Paris for my 50th birthday. (First time outside the USA) And, I want to spend my 50th in Disneyland Paris.
I've grown up in San Diego, California (south of Los Angeles) and have been to Disneyland all my life. Even Walkt Disney World several times, too. And now it's time to see the other parks & travel the world.
So, thank you for this video showing how to get there. It will make me feel at ease when I finally get there & know where I'm going.
Ahh how exciting that you’re planning your 50th in Disneyland Paris! 🎉 You’re most welcome, hope you have an amazing time travelling to DLP and visiting the international parks 😊
I myself, can’t wait to visit Disneyland (California) again hopefully soon 🙌🏼
