The former German Chancellor Helmut Schmidt met the then leader of the CCP Deng Xiaoping in 1984.
    Quote:
"China celebrated the 35th anniversary of the founding of the republic in 1949, and I came as a private individual, no longer as Chancellor. This time our conversations were much more informal and frank, and I couldn't help tease him a bit." You Chinese Communists are dishonest people, "I said," you claim to be communists, but what you do is Confucian. "

The ecoconomic translation of confucianism is communism. If you really understand what thoes terms are. And currently china is in phase 1 of a 3 stage developement plan which may be described as (state/private) capitalism and once it asserts its dominance in the world what i mean by dominance is no other evil entity can disrupt its developement. Its gonna move to socialism and after that to communism. And all these phases are fueled by confucian philosophy which i can resume in ( dont do to others what you dont want others to do to u / united people with equal opportunities aiming towards the prosperity of all)

Confucius recognised that successful government must be governed by just and benevolent people that don't just talk the talk but also walk the walk on their principles. You have to earn your position of superiority and you must continually work to maintain it.

He only cared about the support of the noblemen in ruling the place only after the noblemen took up arms and wanted a full theocracy without the Dalai Lama also convening or accepting the CCP did he fight the rebellion and institute these reforms. A worker in mainland china today has fewer labor rights that a worker in the Republic of China, worse working conditions, no ability to start a union, or to protest without government approval. To think that Mao would have ended serfdom without the noblemen taking up arms against him is delusional if one looks at the absolute disdain he had for them and the importance he placed on the noblemen.
