I couldn't decide between the Small or Regular. I ended up going with the Small. My primary requirement that the bag must fit under the seat in front of me. I've seen mixed reviews about the Regular fitting under the seat comfortably. However, I didn't see any complaints about the Small fitting. Keeping my fingers crossed until my next trip.
How did that work out for you? I am looking for something to fit under the seat as well. Appreciate your help.
Does „fitting under the seat“ mean that it doesn‘t count as a carry-on luggage but rather an accessoire?
Meaning you could travel with a check-in bag, a carry-on AND the small AER travel bag? :o
@@l-vinotrading4450Each airline has its own dimensions for what they call a “personal item,” which doesn’t count as a carryon. There are measurement devices in airports that you can check these with for your individual airline. In the US, 18x14x8 inches is often the standard for a personal item on budget carriers who otherwise charge for “carry-on bags.” Some in Europe are even more restrictive. Sometimes you can get away with slightly larger, but if an airline agent decides they want to check the size of your bag and it doesn’t fit, even if advertised as “under the seat capable” then you will be charged for carry-on. I went with Cabin Zero for my recent backpack purchase because it’s lighter than the Aer, and doesn’t have so many of the small pockets that I won’t use. Also costs less. Not as cool looking or high-quality, though. But their bags are made with personal-item standards in mind, as far as I can tell. The Aer City PAC Pro is another option I considered-slightly smaller than the Travel Pac 3 Small.
Not sure what content you produce on your channel, but this video was so good, I don't even care. You've earned my subscription. Good music, no unnecessary banter, showcase of every feature, this was very well done. Was torn between this and the Cotopaxi Allpa 28L, but I think I'm gonna give this a shot despite the weight. I've heard this bag is very comfy to have on. Thanks again for the great video!
did you get the Aer 28L backpack? howd you find it?
@@ems9097 I did, literally just used it yesterday. It's bigger and heavier than I thought it'd be, but it's fine for me personally. I have some Peak Design packing cubes that fit perfectly in this bag, so it's been great. This size feels huge to me, so I can't imagine having the larger size tbh
thanks for your reply! im tossing between 28L vs the 35L but im only 165cm in height so the 35L might be way too big. I saw that it weighs about 1.7kg, did you find this quite taxing on the body on top of the stuff you have inside? Im contemplating this backpack for my upcoming travels@@terranceharris3675
Like the Aer backpack ,looks heavy with full load hip belt work well with it
This is one of the most useful videos I've seen to date on this bag. I appreciate you sharing it. In the future, could you add a note about how tall you are so we might get a better frame of reference if a pack is suitable for taller or shorter folks? I'm just about 173cm so packs good for me are not as good for someone 180+cm.
Thank you for the video! Why did you choose cordura over x-pac?
You make some of the best bag 🎒 videos. Please mo more 👏 👏 👏
I’m torn between the small and regular Travel Pack 3. Obviously the small will be a safer bet to store under your seat as a “personal item” but do you lose a significant amount of packing capacity compared to the regular version at 28L vs 35L?
I have this same dilemma. Hope someone can chime in!
@@user-bt3bn3tb7p hmm my thoughts are some airlines may not even consider the small as small enough for a personal item so it seems like a no brainer to get the regular version. I mean surely just put it in the overhead cabin
@@OnyxSinon thanks, but I’m not looking to use this as my one carry on that can just go into the bin (slowly whittling down what I pack but not at one bag yet) since I usually travel w/ a carry on roller that goes there already. I’m looking for a pack that will fit underneath the seat. Looking around more I saw someone on another channel’s comments that mentioned they fit the regular size fully packed underneath just fine on some airlines with no issues, and even more people that said the small version had no issues at all, even on international flights. So I’m probably going to go with small.
I have the older Travel Pack 2 33L. I fly at least 1-2 times a week in the spring and summer months for my work (US Domestic mostly) over the past 3 years, so I have had extensive use flying with the pack. I usually travel for 3-5 days at a time and put all my clothes in here while my carry on is some gear that I bring with me. I have a pretty big frame, 6’3” 265lbs so I would say that I fill out the larger pack to the point where it doesn’t look like an overtly big backpack on my back (that’s also due to the stealthy nature of aer). I’ve never once had someone fight me with using this as my personal item. It does fit under the seat easily unless you have it packed to the gills. Because it’s not as rigid as say the Peak Design or Nomatic it’s easy to squish under a seat.
@@OnyxSinon In US I'd be surprised, it's only longer by 1 inch than most guidelines, it's like super lax in the US tbh. There's almost 0 chance they would give you hard time with the small one. large one, I'd be a bit more nervous but the other dude says it's been fine
Hey! your content is amazing. The way you handle the bag really shows the features. Try adding close up and slow motion. Also, some outdoor shots walking. Hope your channel grows a lot.
It’s flight personal item?
Looking if someone could help me pick between the City Pack Pro and the Travel Pack 3 Small. I want it to fit as a personal/ underseat luggage as well as a day to day backpack. They are very similar but different at the same time and havent found one video comparing the 2. Just an inch difference and i like the compression straps and weight distributors on the Travel variant.
The City Pack Pro is just slightly smaller but seems like it doesnt have all the bells and whistles like the Travel Pack Small, as well as probably having no problem being a personal item on most airlines. Im 6'0 165 so any recommendations would be greatly appreciated, nice video as well.
Have you found your answer? I'm still picking between the 2 with a similar height and weight
While the TP3S has load lifters, the CPP is lighter for EDC... Tough choice.
I'd go for the TP3 but I already have a travel pack covered.
Yea, it’s definitely a tough choice, I didn’t have a travel bag or edc so I decided the Travel Pack 3 was the one I picked. I use it everyday and it’s not too heavy, but the main reason is the tech pouch, I use it so often id hate not having it in the cpp. I took it on delta flights and it fit under the seat for me with no problems really either, as long as you keep to the bigger airlines. I wouldn’t want it any other way, but if you want it simple, light, got like a tech cube, the cpp would be fine as well. I hope this helps. I didn’t get the xpac too btw, looked too crinkly
@@Trivski Thanks for the reply but my search continues...
Although I always carry a 30L ish backpack for my EDC because of my height, (shorter backpacks are often too snug and look ridiculous) even opted for the Xpac for that slightly reduced weight, 2kg for an EDC still seems a bit much especially in a warm climate where I am. Also most airlines here have a 7kg carry on limit.
I'd go for the city pack pro but wtf were they thinking with that admin section? Looking at the flight pack 3 now...
Does it look too big for a 5'6" foot tall guy? I'm planning to buy this backpack but still in doubt. Please reply. Thanks
How tall are you?
I can’t decide between the regular version or x-pac for this backpack
If fully packed, is this still suitable for smaller frames (5'0")? Thank you!
Where in us can I get the travel hanger?
Great video, good job!
can this bag fit a ps5 inside?

How many clothes have you putted in the packing cubes ?
Does this fit in below the seat on an airplane?
Yes for me when I flew with Ryanair and easyJet.
square water bottle for the win
Where is the leather sunglasses case from at 4:37?
とても参考になりました!
購入検討しているのですが止水ファスナーなのでしょうか?
Does the A6 bottle scratch easily?
どうしてこの手の人たちって、見やすいより、かっこよさを優先させるんだろ。暗くて全然わからない。暗いのは決してかっこいいとは言えないけどね。

Where did you get the mask pouch from?
Shown at 06:38
Its a muji ziplock pouch. I have the same one to store my masks, you can store about 5pcs in them any more they might not seal as well
新しいバッグのレビュー参考になりました!
あと、ガジェットポーチが気になったので詳細教えてください!
