The chorus might actually be the most powerful thing, like, ever. Especially when "HIS WORLD" is screamed in an angelic pitch behind the main chorus vocal track. Absolutely beautiful. I cannot stop listening to this version, the chorus is so addicting to listen to. It's something that gives you energy. The guitar solo at the end is also perfect in every aspect. Amazing fucking job, man. You are astonishing.
@@Eidolon11 beat the game more times then you could imagine and stacked 99hrs on all save files and even deleted and remaxed just because I love the story so much, trust me, I'm not one of those sonic white knights but when it comes to THIS game this absolute masterpiece from my childhood, I know what's up, the music is kick ass the story is moody but not cringe heavy like forces the levels are freaking awesome my favourite being the pirate themes one and the absolute madness that is how fast you can get sonic to go is unreal the boost restricting your movement somewhat so you don't use it so constantly, the game was poorly received and will always live in the shadow of 06 due to the release date but It burns brightly in my heart as one of my favourite games even to this day

I will forever defend Sonic 06's right to exist. It has a lot of flaws but there's still a really good game hidden underneath all of that. Particularly the music and the story. I could have done without the Sonic/anime princess ship but Team Darks story was fantastic, Silver and Blaze were likeable additions to the franchise, and the villain was genuinely threatening.
I liked the Zebrahead version of this song a lot. But damn, the very first note of this cover, (for me, at least) just shreds it to bits. This one's a banger.

No one criticizes the music of the game. Everyone agrees that the music was the best part of that game. But literally everything else was steaming hot garbage.
I wished they would remade Sonic 06 from the ground up. Change some of the models, put the cutscenes on the level of the opening scene and destroy the countless glitches and loading times. Granted, theres a lot of work, but I would definitely buy this.
