Ive enjoyed my 2 first years of college with partying and drinking, but not much focus on gym. Now, on my last 2 years (its 4 years degree over here) I tryharded on it, achieving gains and finishing the degree, working and getting more education, trading it with less free time and night life. Overall, my mind health is pretty stable.

I'm 50 too. . Was skinny fat. After 18 months caloric deficit, high protein and lifting till exhaustion I'm just skinny. I lost fat and muscle. So my body fat % has stagnated at 15.5% for a few months. I want to get to 12% before lean bulking. I can't get jacked easily.

Great video! I was already a competitive enhanced bodybuilder before finding the blackpill, but this is a great introduction for noobs. If your goal is to look good year round rather than looking good on stage, be very careful with bodyfat. Girls are insanely demanding when it comes to bodyfat.... If i am around 14-16% with abs and a faint outline of a crotch vein, i get way less of a positive reaction when i am 8 weeks out from a show and fairly shredded. It ia very hard to get to a bodyfat low enough to be considered gross by women; you basically need to be 4-6% and on a ton of diuretics dehydrated to be "gross" levels of lean.

Thanks for the video! I’m struggling with progressive overload. For example, flat bench press, I am doing 70KG for 10 on my first set but I cannot get more reps. If I do then I will do less on my second set also. What should I do please? I don’t want my form to go. I’d like to also see a clean bulking diet. 😊Thanks
@@AD-jc9sj choose a rep range that's good for your goals, I'm assuming you're doing 8-12. So try to do a weight you can reach failure at exactly 8 reps and keep getting stronger at that weight until you reach failure at 12 reps. Once you can do 12, add more weight until you can do 8 reps. If you hit a plateau at let's say 10 reps, you should try a rep range closer to strength to break out of it in the 5-8 rep range.
i spent 3 years not gaining muscle because i wasn’t eating enough. i thought i would “maingain” my way through the process, putting on zero fat while gaining muscle. just do a bulk, trust me. it’s super hard for me to eat a lot of food. i made it work for myself by taking my nutrition constraints and my low appetite seriously. liquid calories, lots of fats etc. i’ve gained a lot of mass over the last 2 months. my physique looks insane compared to before. if you have trouble eating enough food, you haven’t spent enough time figuring out a diet that works. just do it. your appetite will increase as you get used to it. trust me!
As a 13 yr thats turning 14 this and been working for like 8 months theres like a point every 1-2 months where I suddenly have a significant increase is muscle mass and strength
MMA is great. BJJ with a tiny amount of Muay Thai is probably better a better long term strategy. It’ll minimize injuries and brain damage from concussions. Besides teaching you how to fight, these gyms are an exceptional way to make new friends, friends that are in great physical shape and motivated to make their lives better.
The only supplement I take is creatine, which has been proven to improve gains to to increased muscle water retention, I always get the cheap mono hydrate, it’s like 14 bucks.
I love this video but I disagree on what you said that legs do not meet the requirements for an aesthetic physique, it sure as hell does! You want your legs to be strong, nice as well. I’ve seen people devote like hell to achieve a nice set of biceps, back muscle, chest etc, abs. But lack quads, calves, hamstrings, etc. And in the end they are the weakest link. I used to do boxing so my experience may be vastly different from lifters, but I learned quick n hard how important it is to have strong legs. Legs will be your life line. Especially if you need to run while in danger. Having your legs conditioned will save your life compared to having weak legs, calves, etc. And the best example as well, leg days boost tf out of your testosterone. Amazing video though. I loved it.
The worst part about Planet Fitness is how packed it gets. A workout that would typically take me 45 min ends up taking almost 2 hrs to complete just from waiting on the squat rack and other machines to be available.

The good news: You can get about 40% of your natural gains in your first year of training. The bad news. The next 3-4 years combined will only amount to a little more than your first year which is what all the guys in the thumbnail have. A compromise is to get those 15-20 lbs of lean muscle in the first year year and do an immediate cut for about 2-3 mo this and be happy with that physique which will look like surfer physique or sprinter physique. You won’t look as good as these guys but you can still look better than 95-98% of men.
@@roadto1percent I agree but most people’s training will not be that optimized their first year. They’ll screw it up most likely unless they have some sort of coaching. I speak from experience. 😅
Are you seeing the same thumbnail I am?? You cannot seriously mean that a Jeff Seid physique is attainable in 3-4 years. Unless you have elite genetics and do copious amounts of drugs, that’s never going to happen
400-500 calorie deficit, get it from diet and cardio combination. You will probably have to start tracking calories, so you make sure you are actually in a deficit.
I really don’t need 3 years to get t this, a year of training and dieting will surely do that for me because I have the genes. People at my gym where amazed at what I achieved in 2 months when they couldn’t achieved that in more than 6 months

I'm in my late 50s and jacked. I do the Hersel Walker workout, I run, do push ups and crunches. The eating in coordination is the key.

I would add 0,5KG plates on each side and go try to complete it with 8 reps on all sets and progress from there.
