I sit at my desk, tapping out the downbeat (I'm a semiretired percussionist), and no matter how crazy his accents are, and how, for some time, Jojo will NOT hit ON the downbeat- he ALWAYS comes back to it and my tapping and his beats stay perfectly in synch -as he comes back on the downbeat for some time before he goes on another rhythmic permutation. He's a crazy rhythm genius.
Jojo has sounded like this for a very long time. If you're referring to the sound of the music, this is his ME/Machine project, so he's not playing with Nerve right now.

@@KikoDorea yes, this project is new but he’s just building off of what he’s done with Nerve. He was playing pads triggering samples with the band too.
Sound engineers' power has become limitless nowadays... they can make one of the greatest drummers ever bass drum sound like a wet dead fish being hit with a baseball bat and nobody caring about it
It is weird. Years ago I watched a video on how he tunes his stuff. That's kinda the sound he likes/goes for on the kick. I still don't like how much presence is on it though.
It was the first thing I noticed... and no clarity on the main snare. In short, rubbish sound.... or was what we're hearing just the camera mic? Shame.
스네어 오버톤이 없다고 봐도 무방, 5반 이상에 나오는 올드한 사운드, 스네피를 풀고 치는 사운드, 눈으로 봐도 저 스네어가 뭔진 모르겠지만 인치자체가 저런 소리를 뽑을려면 오지게 로우튜닝을 해야하는데 조조할배가 치매걸린것도 아니고ㅋㅋ 단순하게 서로 협의하에 스네어부터 정글 사운드로 뽑아낸듯, 물론 난 공연 현장에 없었으니 영상에 들리는 사운드, 톤 밸런스를 이걸로 판단하기엔 부족하다 생각함
라이브 음향 수준은 진짜 너무 떨어진다.. 무슨 메탈도 아니고 우리나라는 라이브에서 킥소리를 항상 저렇게 잡는데 왜 그러는 걸까요? 무슨 우리나라에서만 쓰는 음향 교과서라도 있는걸까요? 드럼 소리가 전체적으로 어우러지지도 않고.... 너무 쪽팔리는 수준.. 제발 음향 수준 좀 높입시다
