Rob Tapert, the producer, who was there since the beginning, was against the Morgue scene, Craig DiGregorio, the showrunner who left the show because of disagreements with him, fought to leave the scene in. They disagreed about the tone of the show. Rob wanted more serious horror, he has said that the morgue scene is not what Evil Dead is about, while Craig said that the scene is exactly what it's about. John Fauxnom Mike, Jay and Rich are the holy trinity.
How did you know i killed Mike? Wait...and you posted this a year ago? You psychic bastard!
They're all pretty funny. I particularly like it when Jack gets drunk.
IS RICH EVANS REPLACING MIKE
Mike is alive, he recently made a Picard review
2:40 Carnosaur Carnage
5:15 They're impressed!
8:13 He's gonna get drunk
8:56 🎥 Carnosaur 2
10:02 Not Aliens 😉
14:34 Waiting for the explosion
15:38 Not a memorable entrance
16:54 The Coupon Shot
18:13 "He disarmed her" pun
21:30 "Eat this Barney."
24:22 🎥 The Skateboard Kid 2
25:42 Rich calls it
26:06 Jack calls it
31:40 Jack's George McFly impression
32:17 😯
33:15 2001: A Skateboard Kid 2 Odyssey
35:19 And that's why they call him The Skateboard Kid 2
37:37 Oh it's on! Part 1
37:49 Oh it's on! Part 2
38:12 Things get dark
39:28 Whoooooooaaaaa!!
41:04 🎥 Future Zone
44:44 No clue 🙄
48:44 Save David Caradine
this is great thanks
My favorite moments in life include when during a viewing ever RLM member goes “Whooooooaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!” Literally nothing makes me happier
Me too. Its a standard for me now to go "woooooooaahhh!!!" whenever I see crazy zoom-ins, spins, or psychedelic colors or designs in moopies and videos.
"I'M GOING TO GET DRUNK!"
*Best laugh from Rich Evans ever*
The editing was on point for this episode. The cut to the skateboard kid 2 monolith was perfect.
"Jack, it's 10:30 in the morning and you've already started drinking!"
What a funny joke! -Me three years ago
***reads Jack, in 2020, admits he is an alcoholic***
Oh no....
I saw he posted again recently that he is now 2 years sober. 👏🏻
I was just thinking this on rewatch, I hope the fan wiki has been updated so people know this episode is important to lore.
In all seriousness though good on Jack for keepin' on and good on them all for being supportive friends. I wish them many more miserable years together.
You know, people single out Rich a lot, but Josh laughs like a maniac as well.
They all have distinctive laughs, Josh, Jay, Rich, Jack, Mike, Mac
@@TheGameBroswithSirhcandAr0n Agreed! I like Mike's the most. When he really loses it. Rare to hear that cynical old senior hater let loose that much. It's like seeing a bald eagle.
@@GoatMalpbruh 😂😂
All humans do. The trick is to really let yourself go.
Jack's genuine enthusiasm for everything makes me happy
It's because he's an alcoholic and this was back when he still drank.
I'm not trying to burst your bubble, but Jack was an alcoholic around this time. He sobered up in 2021, iirc.
Four light bulbs blown on the "O" in the background. Is that Rich slacking off from maintenance duty, or a clever reference to ST:TNG's "Chain of Command"? :O
casbyness Rich needs to watch the light bulb safety video first.
@g - McBain: Dat's da joke.
:)
The coupon shot is genius. And sometimes I pronounce words wrong and my friends call me rich Evans
Lucky bastard
I love best of the rich evans
At 9:00, are they talking about the morgue/"oh God, I'm in the butt" scene from Ash VS Evil Dead? Who the hell was opposed to that? That scene was the best thing ever created by a human!
They say rob tapert but I’m still not sure which sequence they’re referring to.
Craig left the show and the ending of season 2 was changed from what he was building it towards.
Kelly was supposed to turn out to be Ash's daughter.
Rob Tapert ruined the series
that back to the future cut of Jack laughing was the best part of this video.
Is Carnosaur 2 replacing Aliens? Is Rich Evans cam replacing regular cam? Are pointless meta comments replacing other pointless comments?
Turnip Jones Very cool.
Tune in next time, on Dragon Ball Z!
Love how they cut 25:59 from rich bragging about calling the dad's fate to footage of jay and jack actually doing so
I love that everyone in the discussion agrees with Rich when he says he called it. Collective dementia
14:17 was probably my favorite moment from this episode because I love when they actually acknowledge us.
Been rewatching these and this is the second time Josh has used the word Stentorian, just an observation
{makes careful note}
David Carradine's character name is "John Tucker" in _Future Zone?_ I think his character name in the film should've been called "Johnson Tugger".
Any sufficiently advanced skateboard is indistinguishable from dope.
I really like Jay's editing on this one, it was super fun!
7:44 the music sounds a lot like Empire strikes back (asteroid worm scene i believe)
Noticed that immediately myself. I can't tell if it was re-recorded or they literally duped it off the soundtrack album.
yup i noticed it too
There was one bit that sounded suspiciously like the music from the Rancor scene in Jedi. Don't remember which bit now.
The repeat of Jacks/Mcflys laugh was amazing!
I liked the Doom door sounds as the helicopter crashes.
Mike is absolutely savage when he edits
Credits say Jay edited this.
oooooooooooooooooooh... then they are both relentless in pointing out awkward moments and mistakes lol
FANTAVISION Haha, I had the same reaction after the edit making fun of Jack's laugh. I skipped to the credits and was a little surprised to see it was Jay.
Jay can be a very creative and fun editor as well, credit where credit is due, people always think of Mike first. #JusticeForJay
Nathan E Certainly. We all remember the Star Wars Christmas episode. It's just that the petty mocking of your friends' foibles and mistakes seems like more of a Mike characteristic.
Is this replacing my crippling diabetes?
nothing could ever replace that
is this replacing Terry Foxes cancer?
If this joke dies, will it replaced by another joke?
is this joke replacing santiagos crippling diabetes?
chicken soup will cure anything
expect AAAAIIIDS
This video popped up on autoplay for me. It's funny to see the reference to Jay and Silent Bob 2, because the trailer for that has finally come out.
Was the movie released already? I refuse to do any research for the film outside of what I learn from this video and its comments
Did anyone notice the sound the malfunctioning helicopter makes at 14:35? It sounds like the door sound effect from the older Doom games.
Those fucking doors. With an Elemental of Pain behind it.
That sound is sewn to brain forever.
Big studios are *still* making movies *today* that include the Icon of Sin spawner cube sound in them. I think the most recent one was the Tom Cruise *Mummy* reboot.
That's because a majority of Doom/Doom II's SFX are from a stock audio effects library. The most amusing in my opinion is most of the zombies' audio being annoyed camel noises.
I'm glad someone else caught this! I just wish that Rich had since he's the gamer of the group.
7:50 thats literally music from Star Wars! Empire Strikes Back, when the slug goes back in the asteroid crater. Not to mention the stormtrooper blaster sound as well
Since there's no more IMDB message boards, I have no idea where to express this thought, but how does Ted Prior "Learn from the best" and all the other mannerisms of David Carradine when he dies before Ted Prior is born?
della rocco Shhhhhh, don't taint this masterpiece with such base things as logic!
He watched him in Future Zone.
It's in his DNA
Is RedLetterMedia replacing Mike Stoklasa?
Is Mike Stoklasa replacing RedLetterMedia?
Are overdone to death comments replacing overdone to death comments?
This meme is so dense.
I think that's a troll comment. Good one
Bring back the woman!
I just love this channel (and all of the guys in it) so, SO much...
Revisiting this, Jack’s McFly laugh during Skateboard Kid 2 is just…so good. 😂😭
I love when Jack doesn’t know somebody’s name like the others, he tries to listen to what they’re saying but doesn’t always get it right. He knows he might not have it right, so he tries to pronounce it quietly, but there is a soft L in “Colby” Smulders instead of Coby. He does the same thing with Rutger “Howard” instead of Hauer in the Turbulence 3 episode. He tries to fade it out, but it’s there because he didn’t entirely hear them right.
Imagine my disappointment when I read the title of the first Carnosaur and thought that it was about a dinosaur carnival.
'It's 10:30 in the morning and you've already been drinking several hours'
With what Jack said recently... oof
I'm drunk from a solid 10 hours of drinking, with a bucket of KFC and a large chicken fried rice from a local takeaway. Looking for stuff to watch this is what I landed on...
OK I'm in guys
I've got some drunken videos if you care to watch. In the meantime, enjoy that chicken. Nothing to soak up shots like that fried food
the legendary crispin glover jack laugh edit will sometimes get stuck in my head like a radio jingle
You folks just brought me 4 minutes of uninterrupted laughter. I love you very much!
the no mike episode
The other guy and the other other guy, the other other other guy and the other other other other guy episode.
No, Rich Evans gets to be called by name.
More like the fraud episode
Rich will save this episode, just as he saved my crippling depression.
Wow, you guys really love Mike huh? I'm sure he feels touched.
A best of the worst on my birthday? Fuck yeah!
Noah Boudria FeelsBirthdayMan
happy birthday!
Happy birthday!
Noah Boudria Noice
Happy birthday. Have you finished building your ark?
this is the best shit on RUclips
a truly beautiful ending sequence. thank you fellas. especially rich (moonwatcher) evans!
Just bookmarking this for myself, TBH
Greatest Rich Evans laugh: 8:16
