Great video as always. Very informative especially on the fine details that help narrow down the years. I sadly only have 4 of them and one Michigan crane as well. One of the 4 that I do have is the orange one with the yellow oval. I do have 2 small ones but those are common.
@@davidtorres4041 thank you David! I love the Michigan cranes too! Oh nice I didnt remember you having a Jcpenny crane cool! The mini cranes are really fun too! Ive been dying to find one with the mini clam shell buckets
@@TheTonkaKid they are very cool! Lots of moving parts and tons of fun to be had! Also the heaviest mighty that’s not a tractor trailer if you saw my live video where I put a bunch of them on my postal scale hahaha
I picked up a mighty boom in good shape for £10 and putting it on my 60s dragline as can't find a original boom but still fits it and the wife just got me a 1953 orange rubber tyre grader apparently 1 year production
@@Lee-At-Green-Pheonix-Rc cool idea. Oh awesome gift! Yes 53 was the first year for the grader and it was made only one year with the solid wheels (no holes) I love the graders I have a bunch of them 🙂
@@jeeperscreatures thank you! Yes I don’t mind play wear or rust or patina or any of that stuff. My deal breaker is decals missing major pieces. I love all the battle wounds from over their lifetime. It really tells a story I think. 🙂
Thanks for the info. I now know the year of my mighty crane.
@@andytrimble9579 awesome! Thanks for watching! Glad I could help 🙂
great job i have 9 of them, good job
@@garygoodrich6119 thank you Gary! I always appreciate your comments and encouragement!
I had a mighty crane before but the old rop broke thankfully shoe string works well a simple quick fix 👍😎🛠🛠
@@sylvainburelle9102 nice! Necessity is the mother of invention! 🙂
Thin paracord works too

@ that’s cool, I’m still trying to reassemble a crane I restored
@ oh nice! I have a couple 90s Tonkas I want to do at some point too
@@mightytonkamadness the first truck I ever restored was a 90s crane. They are a LOT simpler than the earlier ones

It`s cool that you leave them as they are.

@@mightytonkamadness If they were all shiny and new they would not be half as interesting. I like the broken glass on some of them.
