Their positions changed. Talita went from bottom to top. That's equivalent to a sweep. The progression of the "game" is to go from bottom to top, from top to side control or mount/back. So you lose points if your opponent on the bottom ends up on top, and you end up on the bottom. Sorry hope this makes sense, if not i would just google the ibjjf rules
I hate it when it takes them so long to tie the belt, u lose it, it comes off and u cant tie it.. no resting, cardio is part of bjj..i think Talita was tired and she got her break from resting

I understand why Talita was complaining about Gezary’s pants, they are way too tight there’s not enough to grab which obviously affects grips and puts Talita at a big disadvantage. Doesn’t IBJJF check this for every athlete? Or is just non black belts they enforce gi rules on? I could never get away with a gi like that at an ibjjf comp, I’d get DQ’d so damn fast before I even stepped on the mat if I showed up with gi pants that tight. I love Gezary and I was rooting for her but I believe justice was served for this one seen as Talita got 2 points which she deserved IMO. She went from being on the bottom to the top 🤷🏽♀️

my biggest flex is that when I started jiu jitsu 5 years ago, gezary was my sensei and I recently moved gyms and now talita is my other sensei😎
