I tell myself I will sell but never do: just end up gifting. Every now and again I bring a bag out and make myself wear it. So the clothes fit around the bag rather than the reverse but start with the weather and occasion first. This way I'm rotating my bags more effectively. Sometimes I just put a bag on a small table and have it like a centrepiece to admire. Not sure it would work in a home with small children but it works for me...
Sheesh 😢 I hate it here why has everything gone up so much in price! These fashion houses are raking in cash. Imagine if everyone’s businesses saw this type of profit margin year to year. What a world it would be. I wish I had the money I have now back then.

I was trying to figure out as I watched your video what the difference is and I can’t quite put my finger on it but THANK YOU for making such a light and fun video. Loved it!
Leather surgeons in the US does brilliant work as does Purse Rehab. They have replated 24k gold, gotten smoke smell entirely out of a vintage Chanel mini, and generally refreshed tired bags.
Hi Amelia ! I saw some time ago a documentary ( a French channel " Arte" ) on Coco Chanel . When the Chanel 2.55 ( 2 for February and 55 for the year ) was released in 1955 it costed about 200 € ... happy 50's. Nowadays you can almost say : " last year this handbag was cheaper ".
Hi Amelia!Great video. Personally, I don’t pay attention to increases anymore, but watching your video hurts my stomach lol. You are correct, Chanel does not make caviar mini rectangular or square anymore since 2018 that was the last year they did. I have a mini caviar from 2018 and if I remember correctly, it was around 2,900 plus tax. I would have to check my receipts but I think that was the price. Now the bag goes for 6k + depending on condition and color and even more now the ones in caviar with top handle 😅 crazy but we love them don’t we?😂
Great video BUT lots of these increased priced bags ( lady dior etc ) can be bought for up to 50% off retail anyway) hence we have to choose carefully with our hearts and if they dont work sell on whilst they are still “the in thing “. Not saying your ones are but just saying some hold and increase what you paid and some drop. Thank you for the videos ❤
These prices and changes are just😳🙄I bought my Neverfull GM in Paris 12 yrs ago and it was between $600-700 USD (after VAT). Now, it’s over $2100 USD and you have to get on a waitlist (from what I read). Glad I bought it when I did, if I wanted spend that kind of money, I’d still have to wait on it.
Sometimes I just want to go back to the old prices and also the reasoning we had with that! I think a lot of us went crazy with buying bags because of the price increases!
If Louis Vuitton won't repair it there's a guy on the west coast of the US, Bedos Leatherworks he does those repairs and would trim the canvas down and replace and repair it all for you.
