It's "high dive" as in the act of performing a high dive, which I'm sure you've seen before, into the "frozen waves". Not a "hot dive", whatever that is. It's "high dive" as in the act of performing a high dive, which I'm sure you've seen before, into the "frozen waves". Not a "hot dive", whatever that is. Although if you were to do a cover, I suppose that could also work for the juxtaposition. But yeah, that would be your creative liberty, not the original lyrics. You can also check the official lyrics online before "correcting" people...
