Mapping of the body is extremely important to anyone in the Health Sciences or medical fields. Whether you are a nurse aide or a surgeon, you need to understand the body in order to care for a patient properly. There's an error at 5:17. The elbow is DISTAL to the shoulder, not proximal. I think you meant to say that "the shoulder is proximal to the elbow, whereas the wrist is distal to the elbow."

There is another error at 5:24. The ankle is DISTAL to the hip, not proximal. I think you meant to say that "the hip is proximal to the ankle, whereas the toes are distal to the ankle."
Hip is proximal because it is the point of reference! I think he is comparing. So Ankle is closer or proximal to hips compared to the foot which is farther or distal to the hip!
@@roodhaven To say that the "ankle is closer ... to the hips compared to the foot," you would say that the ankle is proximal to the FOOT, not the hip. Saying that "the ankle is proximal to the hip" (as the video does) is saying that the ankle is located between the hip and the point where the leg attaches to the body, which makes no sense.
