Homosexuality in the animal kingdom works the same way as in homo sapiens, in that you can't just pair them up with the opposite sex and expect them to magically change their gender. Unfortunately, artificial insemination is not an option. It's not as straightforward (ha) a proposition as with mammals, especially larger ones where we've had success. The biologists say the only way these fellas can get preggers is the old-fashioned way. Good news for the penguins: the zookeepers promise they'll return Buddy and Pedro to each others' loving partnership as soon as this little breeding experiment is done. Let's think of this as one of them making business trip. HEHE
