His damage reduction works as normal and he doesn't counter afterward, which is what should happen. He probably would've taken around the same damage as he did against Cell Max (probably slightly less due to building up) had it worked as normal. EDIT: Just saw someone point out that it seems like the issue is that if he's already received a normal, it gives him his full passive even against supers. If the first attack he receives during a turn is a super though, it works as intended.
@bluess1508 He also did have a death in the video against Beast Gohan where he took 440,000 against him in slot one. I could be wrong but if he had his 80% cut up, I feel like he would have taken less damage. So maybe he is bugged in some parts of the video but I'm honestly not sure.

Hes surviving kill shot super attacks and countering them meaning his 80% damage reduction is just permanently up once getting hit or something like that.

If he only received the extra dr for normals, he wouldn’t have been able to tank Goku and Frieza, as well as Broly’s super attacks for as little as he did. Apparently Str Vegito is the same way. If this isn’t a bug, then I’d argue he’s better than Buuhan (since you can reliably place him in slot one most of the time), and he’d be better than Beerus due to the much better damage. 26:34 proves my point. This is a 3 million super. Even with the guard, he still shouldn’t have taken that little unless I’m right.

The transition between attacks (normals and SA) freezes for over a second each time and gets me mad because there is a lot of waste of time when are multiple attacks.
I wouldn't say str super vegito is in a strong spot in the meta rn but I would say the fact that he works so well with carnival gogeta actually really helps this unit
This Vegito being bugged with his DR always activating on a normal before the SA is funny but this bug right now would make him better than Beerus and mostly every unit rn because of how good of a slot one unit he is. If they don’t fix this and make this an intentional bug honestly he might be one of the best units of all time with this insane damage and 80 Dr always up.

His damage is not quite as high as Kid Buu and especially SS2 Goku in most cases. He's not broken, but he's not trash or a fraud. He's a good unit that can finally be run in most content, and not look like a fraud. Were you there for his first EZA? Dude was a fraud from the get go when they did that, by only having 80% dr on normals still. That 40% DR is what saves him from being a fraud because raw stats don't cut it for survivability.
He's better than buhaan and will age getter, people dont realize it but he gets 80% DR after receiving a single normal attack, he's a upgraded version on evo blue vegeta

Rn I would say buuhans kit is a bit more consistent ( health conditions are never consistent unless ur someone like str fp Frieza) However I will say this debate is extremely dependent on the shape of the meta( which is subject to change alot ) Super vegito is going to be very helpful for aoe normals! Buuhan is a superior support unit while super vegito is just the average counter unit ( which isn't a bad thing, he is the father of counters) with some awesome tools as well ! Lastly do consider buuhan has stronger links than super vegito !

I’m here from one week in the future. They’re nerfing Super Vegito with that bug he has on him atm with his extra dr applying to all attacks including supers.
18:30 he's bugged btw, this is not representative of how his performance will be on release (countering supers, additional dr).
He's not bad but he could've been so much more. I feel like he's missing an additional 100-200% to stats somewhere and then he'd be almost perfect. Maybe make the scouter perma

My guess is there's a bug that count any SA post the first normal he get hit as normal attack so he has 80% DR against it.

That is sadly a bug, apparently when he takes a normal it triggers his full passive for the rest of the turn, making it so that has 80% reduction and even counters the super

I think he nice can perform very well but to say he is a game breaking unit is rough i mean all this old unit have really low stat and don't tend to have good super atk effect like imagine if they put away his hp conditions or make him an atk stacker would be a different story right

If his scouter can be triggered infinite number of times under 50%. The scouter is definitely better than if it can only be triggered once. As long it shows 4m, AGL SV easily destroys GoFrieza so he's pretty good for now.

Once they fix the bug he'll be taking way more than 535K on supers pre built. I'm saying that extra 30% DR when receiving a Super Attack after they fix the bug.
Now it is bugged, it counts some specials as normals and activate his dr and counter them.

His damage is not quite as high as Kid Buu and especially SS2 Goku in most cases.
He's not broken, but he's not trash or a fraud. He's a good unit that can finally be run in most content, and not look like a fraud.
Were you there for his first EZA? Dude was a fraud from the get go when they did that, by only having 80% dr on normals still.
That 40% DR is what saves him from being a fraud because raw stats don't cut it for survivability.

Rn I would say buuhans kit is a bit more consistent ( health conditions are never consistent unless ur someone like str fp Frieza) However I will say this debate is extremely dependent on the shape of the meta( which is subject to change alot ) Super vegito is going to be very helpful for aoe normals! Buuhan is a superior support unit while super vegito is just the average counter unit ( which isn't a bad thing, he is the father of counters) with some awesome tools as well ! Lastly do consider buuhan has stronger links than super vegito !
