From my observation, Mark replaced the original pickups in his Starchild bass. The original pickups had a solid walnut top on them. He changed them sometime within the month of October this year. The old ones were still in this bass back in early October.
@@DJ_Starz Probably a short in the wiring or a solder joint went bad. The bass is over 40 years old, those kind of difficulties happen when parts that old start having problems. I've seen Mark with another new Jaydee in brown with just dot inlays. I already know that Mark had pre-ordered that new cherry red Supernatural back in early 2020 that he uses for the first half of the show. My question is, where did he get a replacement set of Jaydee pickups?....unless he had spares. You can't buy those pickups aftermarket. They are all handmade by John Diggins. Do you know if Mark had the problem with Starchild bass while performing?...Or did he not even bring it out at all?

In Guildford the day before, he had a problem with his SC bass. The next day he was playing it again. (Saw both nights)
