Atmospheric Optics in ND - Weather Wednesday - 2-2-2022

Happy #WeatherWednesday! I'm super excited to share today's viewer photo with you all!😄 This picture was taken in North Dakota and it perfectly displays some atmospheric optics.
These optics form when there is a very thin layer of cirrus clouds in the sky. These clouds are made up some very small ice particles and sunlight can reflect and refract and that creates these optics☀️.
This is such an amazing picture! It even includes the not-so-common 46° halo and a circumzenithal arc!🔹
