What else do you guys need to see in the biggest games and playoffs to go in a different direction?

Bills was not a big game. But they did have cooks ran up and down the field on them all game.(entire team played bad) niners game during the season also wasn’t a big game. mccaffery ran up and down the field on them all game. Packers was a big game and Aaron jones ran up and down the field all game. Against the niners the previous year Kellen Moore came in with the dumbest game plan. A niners team that struggled against deep shots all year and they go in not taking a single deep shot and playing into the niners strength while avoiding deep shots when that was one of Dallas’s strengths all year. So yeah I don’t see why people keep blaming dak when the same trends seem to keep happening. Not only that but when every QB in NFL history is not great when the opposing team just keeps running the ball up and down the field all game. It’s like me saying Dallas fan here. Look at Purdy against the ravens

It’s literally stupid to say that when so many other things go into the game. How so many fans are complete morons when it comes to grading QBs accurately is mind boggling to me.

@@KyngJenkins-j7z having a winning record does not make a game big. It makes it big when something is on the line. (Post season games, games to win the division, games to get a better seed.) bills or Miami were neither of those. They would of helped with seeding but those games didn’t determine seeding specifically.
@steventorres, every game determines seeding. And it was a big game b/c the bills were considered a serious Super Bowl contender. It was a test to see if Dak could do it against the good teams and not just the crappy teams. We all know how that ended

New contracts for Dak, CeeDee and Micah would cost you almost half of your cap. Do you really think these three can win you a superbowl with reduced support from the rest of the team? Trade them and you should get 6 first round pics plus some. When you do mega contracts you are at the mercy of those players. You don't recover from a bad mega contract but you can always find a workable solution if you don't pay them. Moneyball these players.
Not dominating the league with those 3 .... and won't dominate if you pay them more = Punt. Duck had Amari Cooper, CD Lamb, and 5 yds/carry/Pollard on his offense for 2 years = No paydirt. Get rid of the Duck.

Not in the same fiscal year. It would be best ideally to package both for top draft choices ( nothing under 1's and 2's) reset the season going 8-9, 7-10 , 6-11 with Trey Lance. If it happened for us with Herschel Walker in 89 it will happen with us in 24-25 seasons. That's how you reset in this league. Two things prevent Jerry and Stephen from doing this, Dead money, and Cap Hits.

Lance has only played 1 full season after High School ... At BFE Dakota University out with the Buffalo and Antelope. That was 5 years ago .... So .. Lets sum up ... A. Has only 1 year of Colllege experience B. Was at a small school w weak competion C. 5 more years have gone by since his single/season of starting at Cow/Dung Universtiy = Trade him if you can. .... What do people expect? QB is mostly about reading Def/and making good decisions= that takes experience. Getting Lance was a horrible move.

🥱 meaningless. When Lamb returns, passes to Brandin Cooks will dry up. Cooks has been lucky to avoid injury, and he is no longer a 1K WR.
He's been 1000 yard receiver every year until he came here and they didn't know how to use him until late. But Lamb will always get more targets so here you're right he may not get those 1000 yards somewhere else he will. Especially if he got it with them horrible qbs texans had before stroud
In 2022 Dak was the NFL intercepton/leader.. So in 2023 McCarthy didn't throw deep for almost the entire 1st half of the season. Cooks is a Speed/Guy .. and speed/guys are for long balls. Cooks was 1000 yds with Dashaun Watson in Hou because Watson could sling the deep ball accurately .. Dak cannot. You're not going to see Cooks across the middle/much .. too small. So Cooks might be a bad fit in Dallas w Dak at the helm. McCarthy is just not very good as an Offensive Playcaller is the other problem.

This limits vertical threats b/c route concepts are based on sideline to sideline concepts. Cooks is simply a bad fit in that scheme. NFL Nextgen Stats confirm the absense of Dallas Deep Ball targets through the 1st 7 games of 2023 .. Dak led the league in INT's in 2022 .. McCarthy took over in 2023 and promised Dak would have an easier time w completions .. Nut/Cutting the deep ball is certainly 1 way to do it.. and he did. Cooks was a 1000 yd receiver in Houston .. He didn't just drop his nuts over an Off Season.

Not extract deep ball plays or threats. Have a look at Hall of Famer Jerry Rice's Highlight tape since you need a refresher.. he was in the West Coast System his entire career. NFL Nextgen Stats show both the lack of Deep Targets in 2023 by Dallas through the 1st 7 games... and Cooks deep ball targets at Houston w Deshaun Watson where he had 1000 yds/receiving in 2022.
