If you pay for Sony's Catalyst Prepare software which includes Catalyst Browse you can export in 10 Bit 4:2:2 and you can also batch process and not just individual clips. The free version of Catalyst Browse is restricted to single clips and 4:2:0 export
gimbal, no assists, with software stabilizer makes hardware OSS and IBIS feel like scams! great vid bro this just helped my decision making so mush in terms of lens purchasing
Appreciate all the time and effort you put into this one! You have to upgrade to Catalyst Prepare to retain 10 bit and batch export. It’s well worth the investment. Also, if you do plan on using catalyst, be sure to set a higher shutter speed. If you shoot traditional 180 degree shutter angle, it will look like trash. Keep up the great work!!
Hi. Lei. I have a question to ask. How can we turn on both IBIS and OSS at the same time? Currently, I have a 70-200 GMII OSS. When the OSS is activated, it automatically shuts off the IBIS.. When I read the manual / online article, it says the same story that, OSS will override the IBIS and the IBIS becomes greyed out. Is there a way to activate both on at the same time? Please enlighten me. Thank you
i had a problem with catalysts browse crashing it tuned out it need gpu updates it was all software related there making a lot of changes to software lately
Excellent video! Agree, not sure why sony doesn't want to improve catalyst browse. It doesn't support a few of the Nvidia graphic cards. So stuck with cpu for rendering. No option to apply stabilization to all clips at once. Painful process.
Extremely useful!
Fantastic video!!
