Here is the link for Sunday's new Anita Goodesign project Patchwork Pets Quilt. Even if you don't have the design set, there are lots of techniques in each block: folded fabric, applique, and crazy quilting too! There are usually some discount codes around, but you can always try using AASUE10 for 10% off!
So excited that I caught the sale this past weekend and was able to pick up the Patchwork Pets Quilt design. Can’t wait to get started. Thank you OML group for mentioning sale had been extended!
I cOuldn’t make the live stitch out so I just watched the replay and I love, love, love both of your finished dog blocks! Special thanks to you for your 1 piece experiment on the smaller block, which I think was a huge success. I cant wait to get this AG set and get started!
I watched this video (catching up on those I have missed) and wow with this design you really need to keep your attention fixed all the time on what you do next. I can honestly say that without this video I should have been completely lost! Thank you Sue and Don for a really good stitch out. For my preference, I think that the bird does not look as good in the varigated thread and the leaves again do not show to advantage, perhaps because they are in a smaller size, do not do justice to the varigated threads. Small pooch does look good though and I really do not know which I prefer.
My personal opinion this is overkill..uses way to much time...I’d have had this done in half the time...if your just putzing around..i guess it’s ok...not for me..
Thanks for commenting. I don't think I putz around, it's a "how to" tutorial, so every detail is included, every step is shown so that anyone can stitch out the design with confidence. Just saying.

Nice job on fabric selection. I’m not sure I would have thought about using sun flowers but it worked fabulously! Thanks for the video.

I agree, Gill - but it was fun to test :)
If you do a whole quilt. would use assorted fabrics or all the same.
FYI, I tried your discount code and it applied without error, but it did not deduct anything. Is that normal?
it doesn't work on every design
