- Cheong Wa Dae (Korean: 청와대; Hanja: 靑瓦臺; lit. Cyan-tile Pavilion), also known as the Blue House in English, is a public park that formerly served as the presidential residence and the diplomatic reception halls of South Korea from 1948 to 2022. It is located in the Jongno district of the South Korean capital Seoul.
Cheong Wa Dae is a complex of multiple buildings built largely in the traditional Korean architectural style with some modern architectural elements and facilities. Cheong Wa Dae now consists of the Main Office Hall Bon-gwan,[a] the Presidential Residence, the State Reception House Yeongbin-gwan,[b] the Chunchu-gwan,[c] Press Hall, and the Secretariat Buildings. The entire complex covers approximately 250,000 square metres or 62 acres.
Cheong Wa Dae was built upon the site of the royal garden of the Joseon period (1392-1910). While the Blue House served as an executive office, it was one of the most protected official residences in Asia. Upon the inauguration of President Yoon Suk Yeol in May 2022, Cheong Wa Dae was relieved of its duties as the official residence and executive office of the president. The president's office and residence were moved to the Ministry of National Defense building in the Yongsan District of Seoul, and Cheong Wa Dae was fully converted into a public park.

먼 옛날 내 고딩 시절 삼청로는 정말 인적 드문 곳이었음. 방과후 여기 주변을 친구와 걸으면 진짜 사람 구경하기 힘들었다 ㅎㅎ
경복궁 쪽으로 가다 보면 앙드레김 의상실이 있엇고 불란서 문화원이 있어서 내 중딩시절부터 절친이 맨날 가자고 해서 100원? 200원? 내고 프랑스영화도 보곤 했는데. 그나저나 한민족은 왜 그리 단풍에 열광하나? 캐나다가 한민족 시원의 땅이기 때문이지. 단풍국 그 캐나다. 한민족이 진짜 터키인인데 선비족도 터키인 즉 튀르크의 일파. 16세기 지도에 보면 캐나다에 시베리아도 잇었고 이 시베리아가 선비족의 땅이고 선비족은 사슴과 관련있는 민족이고 그래서 한민족은 물론 인류문명 발상지 황하강도 캐나다에서 찾은 것 같음. ㅎㅎ 의식의 흐름으로 댓글을 써 봤다 ㅎㅎ

I just finished watching your video carefully, but Coco, don't be jealous. You always find a kitten on your walks. The amount of people taking photos in their traditional costumes and the contrast of the trees with their colorful leaves, making each costume or face in those photos stand out for your memories. Hi Nathan! I enjoyed everything about this video. The late afternoon sun radiated through the trees and made the fall colors brilliant. The setting sun also created shadows which added layers to the scenes. There were so many picturesque moments. The seasons ..fall and spring ..are God’s gifts to us.
