Help!! I got my husband one of these and it will not stay on long enough to finish a drop. Does anyone have any suggestions on what to do to fix this? The Machine is brand new
It's powering down before it finishes powder drop? If so I'd try another outlet just to be sure and if the issue persists, if it is brand new I'd contact Hornady and start the process for a replacement unit.
@@ThatKid2Diesel Yes that is correct he has tried different outlets and the same thing happens every time. He has managed to actually get it to run a few powder drops then it would shut back off.
I would say then the best thing to do is to contact Hornady as it has a 1 year warranty. I haven't had any issues like that with mine, but they should make it right.
@@ThatKid2Diesel I think that is what I paid for mine. I found those tricks you found. I dispense only stick powder and it works fantastic. If you use ball powder, a RCBS uniflow type throw measure works spot on.
You seriously just made my day!! I have been having fits dispensing 4064. Thank you for posting this!!!!
Not a problem. Glad it helped.

I have been looking for a way to fix this issue. I have issues with IMR 4350. Thanks for the tip.
Yes slowing down the trickle speed is the key. Glad it helped.
@@StevenJohnson-ou1hm IMR4350 I use same issue. This video was very helpful

Not a problem. Thanks for watching.
Thanks for the help!
No problem.
Same with the H4350!
For H4350 powder .I set trickle speed at 0.2,trickle start time at 4.4grains,speed normal. This seem to work the best for me.
Do you know how to reverse this effect? My dispenser stops 2gr before the target and the last part takes an eternity.

@@ThatKid2Diesel Yes! It’s looking like no one has had this issue befor either, but thanks for the input I will be give them a call very soon
Not a problem. Hornady has been good to work with everytime I've called. I'm hopeful they will get you fixed up quick.
Wow that thing is a turd
My comment would be if you can get this on clearance at $169 like I did, it's still a good buy. But I would not pay retail for it.
