You won't hear tighter phrasing than that. And the Rhythm Section was spot on. Fantastic players. Jory Woodis has a great Alto sound. Everyone is great. Thanks for making this available. Every Sax Section should work to be as good.
Bird could truly fly on that alto sax. I love Trane, but Bird was made to play that instrument. I will always think he was THE best sax player ever. What couldn't he do on sax? Dam do I ever love this song - thanks fellas; superbly rendered.
So happy! WWII was just over and good times were back. Bebop is a metaphor for air travel also! TWA and Pan Am took to the skies, along with Parker and Diz.
Are the Stone Series all the same fundamental horns with different finishes or are the different finishes different horns structurally. Love your horns.
Your saxes are constructed well, and some people sound so awesome on them, I just find them generic in tone, with heavy actions, that I don't get along well with.
the alto player looks so happy
My dad taught him social studies in middle school! I've been considering buying an alto sax and we've been getting advice from him!
George Higgins that’s so cool

..Agree...
🤣 what a presumptuous comment, there are some monster sax sections out there. Have you heard Oatts and the Vanguard?
My favorite from the man who put sax on the map forever. Fly little Birdie, fly.

One of my absolute favorite bird tunes, sounds incredible. The arrangement kinda makes me think of Lennie Niehaus, super cool harmonies
Finally someone actually made a really killer tight sax soli on an amazing song thank you so much
Anybody besides me think that bass sax would be good in this tune?
Absolutely incredible tight sax section. Great players.

Super !!!
Good Show
That alto looks so small, but it sure sounds awesome!
That clipping on the bari sax mic is exactly why you don't put a mic on the bell of a saxophone
Is there anyway I could get the music for this. I'd like to perform this for my senior recital!!! Coming up in a few months !!
❤👏👏👏👏🙂
Bari player has a different instrument to what he plays usually in these excellent vids
Hmmm...Tevis Laukat or Gerry Mulligan???
Bravissimi...by jazz pianist Leonardo Di Maro

The Star Wars Cantina Band meets Charlie Parker :).
Are the Stone Series all the same fundamental horns with different finishes or are the different finishes different horns structurally. Love your horns.

You go from Csus (2nd inversion) to Ebsus (2nd inversion)
Mooie sound! Swingt lekker. Bas zou iets luider kunnen klinken.

they don't sound quite relaxed, as bird did
Difficult to play
