Best time to walk Rome is after midnight. No crowds, less heat, beautifully lit buildings and streets.... sleep during the heat of the day. During the day everything looks like an overcrowded airport departure lounge.
@@tonnyrodrigueznunez It is perfectly safe,,,,, many all night cafes and pizza spots are frequented by police in uniforms taking breaks.... and there are always people around... take cabs to more distant sites of interest.... and its fabulously romantic!!!!!!!!.... my partner and I had the Trevi fountain all to ourselves.... !!!!!

At 38:11 is Giolitti, one of the best (and one of the oldest) gelato places in Rome. If you go to Rome don’t miss it! It’s also more interesting inside than other gelaterias - you first pay at the kiosk in the front and then you go to the back to get your gelato. And don’t sit at the tables unless you want table service or you’ll get yelled at! 😂

There are beautiful parks and green spaces in Rome. But like many old city centers in many countries, there are not a lot of trees on the regular streets.
