One could argue humans make mistakes too but with humans there is always some level of control over where such mistakes happen and when found can be rectified. With GenAI you neither know how the problem happened nor how to fix it without tweaking the model which is costly and you need human supervision to point mistakes. There are cool applications with content creation, automating tasks and all that but the error rate is high for businesses to sustain losses for long time. Let's see how it goes.

This doesn't make any sense, AI workloads run on the cloud. Since AI is high-intensity computing it would actually make sense for cloud spend to go up as AI adoption becomes more widespread. But like Congress financial analysts have no problem talking about things they haven't got a clue about.
