The description of the attack on Moscow, in particular, brings home the absolute wanton destruction of Russian culture by the 1941 Nazi attacks. Irreplaceable history, architecture, and artifacts, on top of countless lives, obliterated by such mindless aggression. One can't imagine how the Russian people felt living through such carnage.
A great series very well done as good as world at war from the 70's and discusses in detail sides the west doesn't discuss. Gave me an appreciation of what the user went thru
You should search for the 1970s Soviet series "The Unknown War", which was hosted in an English version by Burt Lancaster. There's a playlist on YT with the whole series.

Russia and the US saved Europe from Nazis but the USSR also helped start the war. Back when they were allied with the Nazis. This video leaves the part out where they invaded Poland and split it up between the Nazis and Moscow.

It did however shorten the war for sure but the user could have fought another 3 or 4 years and still crushed the nazis and taken all of western Europe if the is and uk not invaded France. Some debate this in a scenario where Germany doesn't declare war on the us after 12/7/41

They got creamed by the Germans until they were able to combine tanks, infantry, air power, and artillery in combined arms attacks, basically Blizkrieging the Germans. Once they learned to fight with combined arms in the proper combinations, Army Group Center was pushed back, then broken up, and effectively destroyed.

the only flaw about this documentary is the missing fact that in 1939, the Russian Soviet Union red army joined with Nazi German army attacking Poland. That's the beginning of WW2 in Europe. I don't think the producer included that fact before making the documentary.

I don't know, as someone who's currently like 320 lbs at the age of 23, and who was told when he was 16 that he only had 3 years left to live due to his weight, like I'm ready to try anything. And I don't think I'm the only one with this mindset. Apparently my weight is going to either kill me or lead to a bunch of diseases so I might as well take something that hasn't been approved for me because if it works and I lose weight I'll be able to live a happy and normal life, but if it kills me oh well. I'm apparently already headed to the grave anyway so fuck it.
I have a friend who tried Ozempic (Wegovy) and had fantastic results. It was prescribed to help lower his blood sugar and his weight and it worked for him.

Up to the Rzhev meat grinder battles and I find it to be very detailed and authoritative with careful military decision assessments.

This is a great and well done documentary, I have studied ww2 for decades, this is pretty darn accurate near as I can tell.
