Libra Ascendant in the natal chart. 10th house lord is Moon. Moon is placed in Gemini in D1 and Moon is in Aries in Navamsa. So, Mercury is the lord of the lord of 10th house and Mars is the navamsa lord of the 10th lord.
Saturn is placed 10 places from Sun and Sun is placed 10 places from Moon.

How to know the amsha?
@@c1ro78 Amsha is the lord navamsha of your 10th house lord. For example:
A person has Cancer ascendant in D1 chart, 10th house from it is the sign of Aries. So basically 10th house of this person is the sign of Aries and Mars is the ruler of the 10th house.
Mars is sitting in the 11th house Pisces in D1, then in D9 Navamsha chart, your 10th house D1 ruler (Mars) is sitting in Virgo sign. Virgo is the amsha of the 10th lord of the person and Virgo is ruled by Mercury, so that person Amsha is mercury.
If you still don't know how to do it, just watch the video from the beginning, Vic did a great job explaining it.

How interesting… Mercury is my Amatayakaraka, and the 10L in the d1, d9, and d10 chart. Currently running Mercury mahadasha. Lots of focus in career so far, got a job in HR recently that almost doubles my income and I work from home.
Current goal that I’m working on is running my own online business (merchant style, buying products from foreign countries and selling domestically).
D1: 10L Mercury in 7H Gemini Ardra conjunct Mars. Moon is 10th from the 10 lord.
D9: 10L Mercury in 4H Pisces mutually aspected by moon (both pushkara bhaga).
D10: 10L Mercury in 3H Scorpio (jyestha).
Adding my experience:
1) 10h lord doesn't fit at all,
2) 10h lord's Navamsha lord fits extremely well.
3) 10h lord's Rashi lord fits extremely well.
4) Planets in 10h do not work.
5) nothing is posited in 10th houses from Sun nor Moon - the rulers of those houses do not work.
What does 10th Lord's navamsa lord means?
i have found that number 2 works really well
@@aagneytrivedi9523 Find what planet is your 10th lord. Then look up what sign that planet is in Navamsa. The ruler of that sign is the navamsa lord

In navamsa it sits in 6th house scorpio with mercury.
While Mars is in virgo navamsa.

Moon is one of my strongest planets. Moon in 10th house, 10th house lord placed in cancer both in D1 and D9, so Moon is lord x2. Also, D9 moon also placed in 10th house. That's a lot of moon influence - yet so far, I have had Mercury type of occupations. (Mercury is also a very strong planet of mine very well placed in both D1 and D9: in D1 it's exalted and in own house, in D9 it's lord of 1st and 10th house, in 10th house Gemini, i.e. own sign, and conjunct the Moon - would that link it all?). I do have a lot of interest and love in all those Moon type of things listed in this video, but career-wise, so far, it's only been the Mercury types of occupations listed.
It's not exactly the strongest. The digbal of moon is zero here.

10th lord Venus in the 8th house of occult science. And that too with Mercury the planet of astrology and Ketu. Ketu is a planet of occult deep research.
Mercury + Venus conjunction is perfect for musicians. And you are a that too.
Exalted moon in the 5th house if creativity, speculations, sports, politics and Mantra. And you are the perfect teacher of mantras. Again I can see music from this.
Having an exalted lord in the 5th house perhaps you should check your luck in speculations. Stock market and stuff. You don't talk about this area of life so maybe you already do?

Thanks, very useful! Could Mars also indicate careers in advertising (competition + treachery)? Especially if Mercury and/or Moon is involved. Re: Bill Gates, his 10th cusp is in Pisces and Jupiter is in Leo in his 2nd house which brings the Sun and Self/leadership and health related factors into equation. Jupiter is 10th from Sun and in Sagittarius in his D9. So looks like a strong Su/Ju profile when focusing on cusps. Moon in Aries is still very relevant with the 11th cusp sitting there.
I wonder if you also can do this technique from the Moon?
And did Space Bug's question meant just taking 10th house lord and read the list?
It feels IF one was to consider uranus, neptune and Pluto along with the nodes then there's a case to be made for how they show an effect?🤷🏾♂️

Lord of 10th Lord: Find where 10th lord of D1 is placed in D1. Which sign is it placed in D1?
Find Lord of the 10th lord: Find the planet who rules that sign. That planet can indicate your career.
Navamsa technique: See the position of 10th Lord of D1 in D9. Which sign, house, what planets are conjunct with it.

Analyzing Phaladipika regarding the professional career in Bill Gates. The Ruler of the 10th house is Mars in Libra, Venus is the ruler of Mars, and it is between two malefics, Saturn and the Sun in the sign of Scorpio (Ruled by Mars himself). Both Mars and Venus in opposite signs to their domiciles and in mutual reception. It would indicate professional issues related to women (Venus) procreation (house 5). Venus associated with two malefic Sun and Saturn (they rule houses 2 and 7 marakas). Which are also barren planets, may be indicate work on birth control. Malefic Mars also makes a close aspect to the Moon in the 10th house which is also associated with pregnancy and conjunct Mercury ruler of 12 house (illnesses). In Navamsa Exalted Mars is ruler of the 12th and 5th house, (procreation and illnesses). His dispositor, Saturn, ruler of 2 and 3, indicates that his motivation is material gain (house 2) and selfish interests (house 3). In turn, Venus is found in the Navamsa chart in the same position as in D-1, besieged by two malefics, this time Mars and Saturn. What if you have 2 to 3 planets, I am so confused because of this
*@Vic Dicara* do you feel that the placement with the highest shadbala will show the most prominent area in life, an area that you are almost compelled to utilize? Like Sun being your highest planet in the 8th? Also an observation at a glance, having two almost equal balas may indicate twin or chimerism.
theoretically, yes. And also its important that the planet aligns with other things in the chart so it has opportunity to USE its bala. In my case, Jupiter has higher raw bala, and also has better alignment to things. So it is more influential in the chart than the Sun

Like President Biden's highest planet is moon in the 6th which rules the 8th. So far in his presidency he's had to deal with health, war, fighting & division, conspiracies, crises etc. Wouldn't be surprised if his wife's family convinced him to go into politics.

Regarding Bill Gates Venusian influence (lord of the 10th lord). He's a philanthropist now and the Bill and Melinda Foundation donates money to many causes that could by effect help women and underserved populations around the world. Otherwise, it's simply a benefic use of his wealth.

If my birth time correct i have neptune! In the 10th house both in rasi and navamsa (first in aqua then in sag) while i have mercury exactly conjunct uranus! In the tenth house at rasi and it falls in taurus navamsa (actually mercurys degree in nvamsa is the same as my asc)

For context: I am asking because my western ascendant is Aquarius but my Indian ascendant in Capricorn (Shravan nakshatra) so my 10th lord would change from Mars to Venus using the Indian way. My Mars is in Shattabhisha (western Pisces) and my Venus is in Revati (western Aries).

Perhaps you don't intend to speak to people like me, but . . . "the lord of the lords" ???
it means the ruler of the next sign you're analyzing. Ex. 10th house in Cancer means Moon rules the 10th house. Look to where Moon is, if Moon is in Leo, that means Moon is in a sign ruled by the Sun. So Sun would be the lord of the previous lord (Moon) of the 10th house.

@@johnwalsh1648 It would mean that, as in the example above, the Sun would also play a role in the career or be part of the way the individual expresses him/herself. 10th house ruler Moon in the 11th house in Leo could mean a career involving the community/technology. Since the sign is ruled by the Sun, it could bring a confident flavor to it.
