That's why I like these guys, they speak for regular people who can't live in the gym and aren't looking to compete in Mr. Olympia. I feel like when I go on vacation and take that week off, I look and feel better, but I do see the value in keeping that form correct. The bottom line is whatever you do, KEEP YOUR DIET 100%
I feel like the deload week helps me from hitting a plateau as well. I notice new gains coming back after one most of the time. I do it every 3-4 months
I can always tell when it’s time for a rest week. Trouble sleeping, more anxiety, lower immunity. I always do zone 2 or walking and I feel like a new person and ready to get back to more intense training.
You are one of the most prepared people I have seen on the internet and I am grateful that there are people like you sharing their knowledge with the world. Incredible tips !!
I've never come back from a full deload week without getting stronger. Usually take one every 5th to 6th weeks. What many do wrong is eating less or taking less proteins during that week, you need to eat and sleep as if you were working out and not slack off on nutrients and diet. No injuries, and no loss of gains. "Deload bad" - maybe this myth is from people on gear? IDK. But at least as a natural lifter who takes training seriously and work out with high intensity a full deload week has always felt like a valuable tool. Most times I've hit walls in my training, progression came back after a deload week. It's like drop-sets, you use it as an occational strategic tool.
I think I need a deload. 3 months of lifting push pull leg 6 days a week. Every set tooken as many reps as I can. My shoulder joint hurts and my knees hurt and overall feel run down
I am not a troll but these guys just don’t look like they know what they’re talking about, they look like crap! They have great advice but nothing to show for it.
deload week is how I re-gain most of the soo important "mind / muscle connection"

Every 4 months i take a week off to remember what life feels like not feeling fatigued every day.

Deload week is my strict form week.
Congrats on 100k subs! Enjoy listening to the content.
completely agree with Sal about the stress
On maps anabolic advanced and referring back to this going on to my deload week 💪
Great conversation! Three previous videos on the subject only left me more confused, but this cleared things up
I just started a test e cycle and I want to know how often to deload, as I know my tendons aren’t growing as fast as my muscles. Any ideas?
Every 6 weeks or so 1 deload week
Danm even your voice change
I have to deload every like 5 weeks and it sucks
Why does it suck for you?
@@kenyavalentine9219 cus I can't train, and the reason u deload is cus u feel weak so that just sucks
@@johnypops2.090 oh I thought you deload to give your body a rest
@@kenyavalentine9219 ya u do wdym

MTOR degrades over time and to reset MTOR you need to take 7 to 10 days off training light won't reset MTOR
I think you're missing some punctuation.
How often should we take a break ?
Every 4 weeks ?
Deload weak = wasting time

Some of the most jacked people out there give awful advice though.
Do you want the best looking coach, or the smartest?
