I agree with the person who brought up the security/privacy factor - that is something you have to keep in mind - living in a luxurious beachfront home sounds good but not when it's on a public beach where ppl can stand around gawking at you and for those who are sick In the head - they may even act bold and waltz on the property. I'd look for a beachfront home with a beach that has no public access (beach is only for members of the gated community).
+Eugenie X All beaches in all of Hawaii (and California too) belong to the public and can NOT be closed off for private use only. Only few exceptions are some small pieces of beaches that are closed off for use by family of US military but that is about it.
Obviously you haven't been to Hawaii and don't know the laws there but all beaches are public doesn't matter if you got billions of dollars and own An Estate? everybody can walk through anybody's Beach. You do not own the beach. Nobody owns the beach that's very arrogant

but you know how much people goes to kailua beach? TOOOONSSSSSS and when your walking along the beach its in plain site someone can easily just walk on your property you know how scary that is? especially at night with all them burgahs walking around!!! id say not worth it...people kill for way less then 36m dollars...but nice house good luck selling :)
If you can afford that house you can afford an armed guard
Everybody has access to the beach but that can be taken care of by a better security not letting people onto your property from the beach. on your property all you do is have to have better security I would have armed guards dogs Thermal cameras pay people to sit and watch them If you can afford that house you can afford to pay for security you guys obviously can't afford the house you didn't think about that

I would love to buy that house but the master bedroom is too small for me my bedroom now is bigger than it and I don't have a master bedroom in my house.
I know... she stated that the master bedroom was huge but it looked tiny, certainly in comparison to many other of these luxury home videos.
