I love my OBD2 scanner and my backup camera but those are inexpensive things you can always purchase later. Let me know which one you go with!

Hey Travis. I'm not a tech guy but I like the screen. Do you have to have wi fi. How are you getting apps and Internet? I'm really old school. Help me understand because I'm thinking about getting this unit.
to download the apps you will need connection to the internet but not all apps require internet to run. There are a few ways that I know of to connect internet to this unit. 1. connecting the unit to wifi (I connected mine through my home wifi). 2. If you have a smartphone that enables mobile hotspots you can enable that feature and connect the unit to your phone data plan. 3. you can acquire a sim card from a cellular provider that you can insert into the unit and it will then have its own data plan.
Are you still running this head unit? If so, does it have Front, Rear, and Sub RCA outputs? (I have a ton of questions, I just sold a Kenwood Excelon and about to get one of these)

There is 2 handle like buttons on the back of the screen (left and right side) pull those and slide the screen up or down. Make sure you don’t damage the wiring harness while taking the screen off though! Let me know if you have any other questions!

I haven't tried to plug in a sim card but I do see a slot labeled "sim". It takes around 30 seconds to fully boot. if you go into the settings you can have a longer stand by to save time if you turn the car off and then back on again.
thanks for posting the video. I had installed Eonon GA 9365 Android 9. but has issues with my iPhone. I cannot may any call even it was connected to Bluetooth, no dial tones, no sounds. any suggestion?
make sure your volume on both devices are turned up. When I am using Bluetooth I have to turn the volume up quite a bit on my head unit to hear clearly
@@2skii695 I haven't had that issue. Have you tried on both your phone and head unit screen? Also make sure your phone is updated and your headunit is updated with the latest firmware
Arnaldo Cruz yes, but I wouldn’t recommend it being a regular thing as the wires and harness seem to be very delicate and could break after handling multiple times

@@robert0x0_ my generation of Eonon head unit didn’t come with carplay or android auto. There is a dongle you can purchase separately to use carplay from what I’ve seen. I have heard the new Eonon models have carplay so you should be good without the dongle if you purchase one now.

I got one of these and the GPS stopped working. They sent a replacement GPS antenna, which fixed the issue for about a day, then no satellites again. Has anyone else had this issue? FYI I already did the update.

U you have to use a break wire override to use apps like RUclips or Netflix while driving?
There is a setting to be able to use all features of apps while driving. I do not recommend watching videos/ shows or movies while driving. Stay safe.
Is Sygic 100% free offline maps or is it a 7 day trial and then you have to pay type of thing?

@@DIYAUTO No, absolutely sound coming from car speakers . I have to switch calls to iPhone speakers to talk

FatWhite Tuna when you connect a call try changing the volume during the call to see if that fixes the issue. Otherwise I would contact Eonon support.

Try press and holding the background. That should pop up an edit menu!
