I didn’t think the kids did any harm and I’ve yet to see a toddler fly, other than my grandchildren before the wheelchair prevented throwing them around. When they’re only 5-yo male, and 4-yo twin girls I actually enjoyed it but wow, don’t they grow up fast (don’t have own kids as 30-years in the military isn’t fair on wife or children - personally speaking of course) but I understand why folk enjoy kids when they’re young.
I had a next door neighbor that would have a fit if someone parked in front of his house. I had a pool and we were having a little boy's birthday party and a guest parked in front of his house. This idiot went nuts! I asked to please have a heart we were having a birthday party and it would be over in a couple of hours, but NO! I can't believe I allowed him to bully us that way.

OK, by now everyone knows fast food service sucks but the only way to get what you want is to bite your tongue, politely explain what's wrong with your order and continue to remain polite, tell them it's no big deal and everything's fine, they will usually be surprised but your politeness will calm the situation and they will be glad to help you out, afterwards tell them not to be sorry and have a good day, I promise you that if you stay reasonable and polite they will help you without an attitude because you treated them like a human being and not your personal servant.
