They HAVE to drop Tav! He was good against Spurs and perhaps the last few games also. Sadly though, he cant defend against Celtic and it will be no different on Sunday if he starts. I pray they start with Streling at RB.
its not a question of how well he played in other games as i have said many times with the right opposition tav can do a job for us,celtic on the other hand is a challenge he hasnt shown himself to be up to and in sterling we have a player who is physical enough to give maeda problems and quick enough to at least not be a focal point of their attack which tav has been in recent times,certainly many players have underperformed against celtic but as much as i hate to single out players both tav and dessers have been terrible in this fixture and i personally wouldnt risk either starting on sunday when we have options who could offer something different to the game and potentially help bring the cup back to ibrox!
in truth thursdays performance was a bad thing as i believe if we had shown up and done that on sunday we would have caught you sleeping,but now celtic will be ready for a game and while still favorites will know if we can repeat the levels of thursday then it wont be an easy game and will now be more focused than they would have been before!

Nonsense, they are a complete mess and playing with a poor attitude, losing everywhere they go, Galatasary, Bournemouth, Brighton, Ipswich, crystal Palace …. It’s been a disaster for them and it was clear to see in that game. I think Rangers need to make sure they don’t think they can go all out and press Celtic like that because Celtic are organized in the middle and hungry, spurs a shambles.
before the last few games i would have agreed with that,but things have certainly turned round and maybe its time to finally put the winless run against celtic to bed and lift the trophy on sunday,a repeat of thursday will be more than enough to get it done,but its a lot of ifs and buts and we could just as easily be hammered
