This is a year late but when saying things like this, whether there was malicious intent or not, can be triggering for eating disorders. She may not have meant it in a mean way but that doesn't change its affect on somebody's psychology. The best thing is for people to think before the speak and realize what they say can be triggering. Personally I don't believe that other people's triggers are your responsibility but its important to at least try to be a decent human.

This is a year late but when saying things like this, whether there was malicious intent or not, can be triggering for eating disorders. She may not have meant it in a mean way but that doesn't change its affect on somebody's psychology. The best thing is for people to think before the speak and realize what they say can be triggering. Personally I don't believe that other people's triggers are your responsibility but its important to at least try to be a decent human.

I think he's basically just expressing the difference between looking natural & relaxed on film (modeling) vs unnatural (posing). I think they want models to basically pose in a way that makes the viewer forget that they're watching someone contort themselves into a purposeful contrived position. Apparently she can't do that.
Posing is what you do in front of a mirror forever trying to get a good insta picture, modelling you walk in knowing what you're doing and ready to slay any picture they catch of you without having to pause
Posing = about you.
Modelling = about the product.

They were talking about apple bottom jeans. The entire point of them is to fill them out. As Allison didn't bring up her disorder, Fatima didn't know it was an issue. Also, considering Fatima is a FGM survivor, Allison and her drama don't illicit enormous sympathy in me. Finally, it seemed awfully convenient.
