My upgrade plan published but the Install option does not appear....it says Edit in Studio. I'm still new to ServiceNow.

do I understand correctly- I would NOT be able to use Upgrade Plans to upgrade my SanDiego instances to Tokyo (ie. after upgrading Dev), because you are required to install the published plan on the target instance before you run the upgrade?

This is a good question and makes me wonder the same.

Upgrade plans are built on the dev system prior to upgrade, hence my comment about "upgrade PLAN". Since Upgrade plans are not available in San Diego. there's no way to construct one prior to upgrading. The value is going to come from your first upgrade FROM Tokyo to something else (patch or family release.)

As a semi-work around, you can turn on Close Captioning. It is not 100%. However, it will get you most of the way there. I thought Padma spoke very clearly where I could understand her without issue. To each their own. This is a good session and hate for you to miss out on it
