Youth Soccer Offside Rule (7v7)

- Introduction to the offside rule for youth soccer, particularly with the build-out line for youth soccer 7v7 games (U.S. Soccer U9 and U10 age divisions). For older age divisions, the offside line extends to the midfield line instead of the build-out line.
NOTE: As players develop their positional awareness and knowledge of offsides, they should eventually learn the finer details of the rule such as the offside line being located at the “second-to-last opponent”from the goal, where the goalie is typically the last opponent but not always. The U12 or U14 teams are generally a good age group to learn the complete rule.

Excellent video guys it gets right to the point and it’s easy to understand especially for first time players!
Second to last defender, second to last defender, second to last defender. the goalkeeper counts a s a "defender"!
Correct, but for young teams this is a much easier explanation. You can refine as they continue to develop their soccer IQ.
My kids fish game to day
Hope they had fun!
If the attaker present in onside ...and at that time another attaker hit the ball above the head of defender ,. And the ball touching the ground after the second last defender ,. .....if the attaker cross the second last defender before the ball touching the ground,,. Is there any offside will takes or not??? reply pl🙏
As soon as the ball is kick, regardless of the balls position, the attacker can run past the second to last defender.
